Chapter 14

When Aria excitedly brought the Darklops legion she had created, modeled after Belial, and had Noa send her to Zero's side, she witnessed a scene she would never forget in her lifetime.
"Zero!!!"
Just as his Color Timer was about to go out, Zero heard that heart-rending cry. It was... Seiya...
Aria rushed to Zero's side with the fastest speed of her life, watching as Zero stood firm behind the barrier even after his Color Timer went dark, supporting it to protect the planet behind him from harm.
She knew Zero was a hero, but it still hurt so much.
It hurts so much... Zero... Brother... It hurts so much...
Her heart ached, her head ached; it felt as though everywhere hurt, yet nowhere hurt at all. Looking at Zero before her, she felt as though a part of her own soul had been extinguished.
Aria desperately tried to transmit her light to Zero. The source light of twins is connected, but why did it seem utterly useless now?!
Rushing sounds echoed endlessly in her ears; she could not hear the sounds around her, but only looked in despair at the scene before her, feeling that Zero no longer possessed any fluctuation of life.
At that moment, she felt as though the world was playing a huge joke on her. She had just learned she had a brother, and before she could even acknowledge him, her brother was gone.
Tears fell unconsciously, and an overwhelming grief nearly drowned her. She felt as though she had returned to the very first moment of her memories, where everything around her nearly distorted her, and a sense of suffocation penetrated deep into her soul.
No! Zero would definitely be all right! Noa was still here; Noa must have a way!
Right! He must have a way!
The roaring in her ears gradually faded. Aria looked up at Belial, who was still unleashing attacks opposite her, her gaze gradually turning resolute.
She would defeat his enemy, and then take him home.
Aria drew her own weapon, wielding dual swords as she slashed toward Belial, but her blade could not pierce Belial's defense, leaving only shallow marks on him.
When she was battered all over by Belial and sent flying backward, she still refused to resign herself to this.
Unresigned... how could she be resigned? She was Aria! Aria was the Light of Destiny of The Cosmos, the daughter of Noa, and the student of Delasion! Aria would not lose! Aria could not possibly lose!
Endless light blossomed within her body, and not far away, the same light blossomed within Zero's body. The Light of Destiny dormant within Zero awakened fundamentally at this moment. The Light of Destiny of The Cosmos—the twins truly reunited in the truest sense at this moment.
Along with Nao's shout, countless lights from every corner of this universe converged here. These lights resonated and shimmered with the Light of Destiny, and Zero's Color Timer and eye lights lit up at this moment.
amidst the boundless light, Aria and Zero stood shoulder to shoulder. She saw Noa standing before them; so this was the reason why Noa had come here.
The Cosmos bestowed blessings upon the Light of Destiny, and endless light clustered around the reunion of the Light of Destiny.
The twins stood side by side, and Noa gathered the light from the entire universe with both hands, then pushed the light toward them. The light formed the Shield of Baradhi, which appeared on both of them.
Belial's beam was completely blocked by the Shield of Baradhi and reflected right back.
"What?!" Belial looked at the scene before him in disbelief.
The light gradually faded, and Aria and Zero revealed their forms. They stood back-to-back, wearing the same new equipment, and their similar appearances made them look as though they were looking in a mirror.
With a simultaneous swing of their swords, the giant claw-shaped battleship was instantly sliced apart.
"Dammit! You guys really are hard to kill!" Belial swept aside a stone pillar in front of him.
"This round must be settled!" Zero held his hands against his chest, controlling the Shield of Baradhi on his body to form the shape of a bow and arrow.
Meanwhile, Aria charged straight toward Belial, brandishing the sword in her hand and thrusting directly at him. Her long sword instantly pierced Belial's defense, leaving a huge wound on his body.
Holding the bow and arrow in his hand, Zero began to charge his power while Glenfire and Mirror Knight bought him time.
Dodging Aria's attacks, Belial fired energy beams toward Zero's side.
With a swish, the mirror shattered, and Mirror Knight stood gracefully among the mirror shards. "Didn't you know? My specialty is making mirrors."
"You've been tricked!" Glenfire said cheekily.
"Interference successful!"
At this point, Zero finished charging his power. "Take this, Belial! This is our light!" Gathering the will and hope of this universe, the arrow was irresistible and unstoppable. Under this move, Belial and his achievements turned into fireworks across the universe.
"We did it!"
Everyone cheered with joy.
The Shield of Baradhi dissipated and transformed into a new Ultra Bracelet on Zero's hand. "Thank you, thank you everyone!" Zero touched the new Ultra Bracelet on his wrist.
Glenfire and the others landed beside Zero one after another, and Aria and Zero stood side by side.
Mirror Knight nodded to them in acknowledgment, and Jean-bot also waved a greeting.
"Whew, man, I'm exhausted, Zero, Seiya." Glenfire brushed his head with both hands, flames rising and then extinguishing just like when they first met, and he pointed his thumb sideways, tilting his head to signal Aria and the others to look aside.
Zero and Aria turned their heads and saw countless cosmic battleships, including the fleet piloted by the Darklops newly invented by Aria.
That was reinforcements from across the universe. During their battle just now, these fleets had been helping them fend off the Darklops legion and Belial's subordinates.
Zero looked at these battleships, then at the new Ultra Bracelet on his wrist, and raised the new Ultra Bracelet high. The Ultra Bracelet emitted a dazzling light, and the plasma spark synchronization device in the Land of Light far away in another universe also shone brilliantly.
Ultraseven looked at the glowing plasma spark synchronization device and nodded with gratification. "Good job, Zero!"
As for the invasion army Belial had previously dispatched—too funny, the universe had been sealed off by the supreme deities beforehand, so there was no way any could be sent out; those battleships had long since been confiscated by Delasion.
Thus, the cosmic chaos instigated by Belial finally came to an end.
