At this moment, the two people on the ground also got a clear look at the two Ultras, and the child drew his pistol the second he saw them.
"Darklops!"
"Wait!" The young man stopped the child. "Nao, they saved us. They aren't Darklops."
The two Ultras were still bewildered. Hearing the commotion over there, Aria cleared her throat and glanced at Ultraman Zero.
Ultraman Zero looked back at her, still somewhat dazed. "Who are you?" Why do you look so much like me?
"Me?" Aria thought for a moment, and for some reason, the voice from the very beginning of her memories suddenly flashed through her mind. "My name is Seiya."
The boy was called Zero, and the girl was called Seiya. Since she was a girl, she would go by Seiya.
Aunt Delasion had said that before the trial ended, she must not let anyone know her true name, so she would just use the name spoken by that person at the very beginning of her memories.
Hearing this name, Ultraman Zero was even more baffled. Why did she share his surname?
"Then what's your name?" asked Aria.
"Me? My name is Zero, Ultraman Zero!"
Oh, no. Wasn't that the name given to the boy by that voice? Had she accidentally borrowed a name right in front of the real owner?
A moment of silence.
Suddenly, a scream echoed through the air. Both Ultras snapped back to their senses and looked toward the two people on the nearby cliff.
Clutching his arm in agony, the young man tremblingly ripped the necklace from his neck and handed it to Nao.
"What are you doing?!"
The young man gripped Nao's hand tightly. "This is... the last hope. You must... you must find it!"
"What kind of nonsense are you talking about?!" Nao's voice was laced with tears. "We promised to look for it together!"
Aria watched the scene, and Ultraman Zero reached out a hand. Just then, Ultraman Zero's Color Timer began flashing red.
Ultraman Zero looked down at his flashing red Color Timer in astonishment. How could this be? He was running out of energy.
Unable to hold on any longer, he dropped to one knee.
The young man mustered his last breath, turned his head toward the two Ultras, and pleaded, "I beg you, take care of my younger brother."
The two Ultras exchanged glances and nodded.
"Nao... be a good boy..." He closed his eyes.
"Wake up—" Nao cried out in despair.
At that moment, Aria poked Ultraman Zero. "Going to save him?" You two are unified in body and soul anyway. Right on cue, you're out of energy, and he's about to perish.
Ultraman Zero nodded. Crossing his arms over his chest, he channeled a beam of light into the young man. The figures of the human and the Ultra overlapped, fusing into one.
Seeing this, Aria also assumed a human guise and stood beside them.
Ultraman Zero couldn't use the energy of this universe, but she could. Throughout the multiverse, there wasn't a single universe that would withhold its energy from her.
After all, her father was Noa, and she was the Light of Destiny. No universe would ever mistreat her—the hard-won Light of Destiny.
"Brother, brother." The young man—no, now Ultraman Zero—sat up.
Nao hugged him tightly. "That's wonderful! There was a flash of light just now, and then I couldn't see anything. It must have been what that giant did."
Held by Nao, Ultraman Zero curiously looked at his own hands, tugged at his hair, and then noticed the Ultra Bracelet on his wrist.
Right then, several more Legionoids dropped down around them.
"It's the Legionoids!"
The two stood up and ran forward a few steps. Then, Ultraman Zero looked at Aria beside him, but Aria was staring fixedly at the Baradhi Shard in Nao's hand.
She could sense her father's aura on it.
Ultraman Zero looked at Nao, then back at Aria. He grabbed Aria's hand with one and held Nao's hand with the other. "Let's hide first."
For some reason, the moment he first saw Aria, he felt an extraordinary sense of familiarity, along with a surging emotion of a lost treasure recovered—as if a long-lost part of his soul had finally returned.
Aria felt the same way. She was trying to figure out what was going on. Her father had sealed off the space of this universe; unless her father permitted it, not even a single message could be transmitted out of this universe.
Ah—surely this couldn't be her long-lost brother, could it? She had never heard her older father mention anything like that!
Aria irritably scratched the back of her head.
