"Uncle (Uncle Arno)!" Two small cannonballs, one blue and one red, hurtled toward Arno.
"Stop," Arno reached out and intercepted the two little Ultras.
"Uncle, did you record the video of your combat assessment?" Tregear asked, tugging at the hand resting on his head.
"I did, I did. Your brother Rogia helped record it," Arno nodded.
"Oh yeah!" Tregear cheered happily.
"Uncle Arno, I want to watch your assessment video with Tregear," Taro tugged at Arno's arm, trying to get him to agree.
"No, it's time for you to go home now. Tregear and I will take you back," Arno replied coldly and ruthlessly.
"Fine," Taro had no choice but to agree when he saw Arno's firm attitude.
Arno walked down the street holding an Ultra by each hand.
"Who is it?" Arno rang the doorbell of Taro's house, and a gentle voice sounded.
"Arno, thank you for bringing Taro back." Mother of Ultra, Marie, opened the door and saw Arno. Without guessing, she knew that little brat Taro had gone to look for Arno's Tregear again. "Come in and have some dinner before you go," Mother of Ultra invited.
"No, no, no, Sister Marie, I..." Before Arno could finish his refusal, he was interrupted by a stern voice.
"Since you're already here, stay for dinner before you go." Father of Ultra, Ken, had just returned from work when he saw Arno at the door.
"Yes, Supreme Commander."
"What Supreme Commander? Call me like you used to," Father of Ultra feigned anger.
"Brother."
"Big Uncle," Tregear hid behind Arno in fright.
"That's more like it," Father of Ultra nodded in satisfaction.
The so-called dinner consisted of light-source particles in different flavors, developed based on various Earth-style tastes.
"Tregear, eat a bit more. These light-source particles are delicious," Taro pushed the light-source particles toward Tregear.
Tregear looked at Arno and, seeing Arno nod, picked up the light-source particles and began to eat them in small bites.
"Arno, come with me to the study," Father of Ultra looked at Arno with a somewhat inscrutable expression.
"Yes."
Tregear watched with worry as Arno was called upstairs by Father of Ultra.
"Don't worry," Mother of Ultra stroked Tregear's head and comforted him gently. But when she looked at Taro, who was happily eating nearby, a burst of exasperation hit her—could she disown this son?
In the study:
"Zoffy said you didn't go all out in your combat assessment today." Father of Ultra used a certain tone; he simply wouldn't believe that someone who ran outside every day lacked self-preservation skills.
"Yes."
"Why?"
"It wouldn't be easy for Rogia to last half an hour in my hands." If he had gone all out, he would have blasted Rogia off with a single shot the moment they stepped up.
"I heard from Hikari that you made a good gadget?"
Feeling a guilty conscience, Arno hid his hands behind his back upon hearing this. Although this cannon was a low-spec version, its firepower could reach 80% of the damage dealt by Zoffy's M87 Ray. He was afraid it would be confiscated.
"Alright, do you think I'm going to eat you?" Father of Ultra laughed and scolded when he saw Arno's guilty look. The older this child got, the more disobedient he became. "Head back for now, go to the school tomorrow to handle the handover, and remember to report to the Science Technology Bureau."
"Yes."
"Arno, little Tregear, won't you come in and sit for a while?" Ace warmly invited as Arno led Tregear past his door.
"Brother Ace," Tregear greeted Ace upon seeing him.
The family of Father of Ultra and his adopted sons Zoffy, Ⱬand (First Generation), Seven, Jack, and Ace all lived on the same street.
"No, thank you." Holding Tregear, Arno flew away from the entrance of Ace's house.
"Uncle, do you not like Brother Ace?" Tregear asked curiously, wrapping his arms around Arno's neck. Every time, his uncle would walk around Brother Ace.
"I like him," Arno replied insincerely. According to the remnants of his past life's memories, Ultraman Ace was a jinx; the Ultra Brothers went to Earth to support him, only to be wiped out entirely and even have a monument erected for them. He didn't want any bad luck.
"Then why did Uncle run away so fast when he saw Brother Ace?"
"Because I don't want bad luck," Arno replied honestly.
"Oh."
Chatting along the way, the two Ultras flew back home.
