"Beep—"
Inside the MAC Macchi 2, a communication came through from MAC Headquarters.
"Captain, we've detected that Kuroshio Island has suddenly risen by about a hundred meters!"
"What?"
Dan Moroboshi was startled, turning his head to look. Sure enough, he saw that Kuroshio Island had risen significantly. At this height, the subsequent tsunami would no longer pose a threat to the residents on the island.
Could it be...?
A thought stirred in Dan's heart as the image of that red-and-silver intertwined figure flashed through his mind, and he guessed the reason.
"Understood. Continue observing."
Lowering the communicator in his hand, Dan shifted his gaze back to the battlefield between Leo and the twin monsters.
At this moment, Leo was severely injured and practically defenseless, the color timer on his chest flashing at an increasingly rapid pace.
If this continued, total defeat and destruction were not far off.
"Too reckless!"
Dan shook his head, crossing his arms over his chest with a resolute expression.
Though using Ultra Telekinesis would consume his lifespan, in such a critical moment, he could no longer care about that.
This concerned not only Leo's life, but also the Earth he loved so dearly.
............
Deep underwater.
Minghui exerted every ounce of his strength, struggling to lift Kuroshio Island upward. The color timer on his chest had also begun to flash, making him feel that the act of holding up the island was becoming increasingly arduous.
Although aided by the buoyancy of the seawater, the greater part of Kuroshio Island's weight still pressed down upon him, which was far too demanding for a low-ranking warrior like him.
"Ha... ha..."
His chest heaved violently. Though exhausted, knowing he could save the lives of thousands of people on the entire island filled Minghui with incomparable relief.
"Now, I'll just wait for Lord Seven's Ultra Telekinesis."
Looking up toward the surface of the sea, Minghui used his Ultra Vision to take in the situation above. While feeling worried for Leo, he muttered softly to himself.
"Huh?"
Suddenly, Minghui sensed a rapid shift in the currents behind him, accompanied by a sharp, piercing sensation. Instantly, he turned his head to the right.
The next moment, a sharp blade swept past, churning the water into a chaotic swirl.
Turning around, Minghui saw an Alien with a mane of yellow hair, wearing a mask and wielding a long sword in his left hand, standing right behind him.
"Alien Magma!"
Minghui's heart shook. Alien Magma hadn't shown up during the entire battle, causing him to lower his guard. He hadn't expected the enemy to appear at this moment, quietly lurking right up to him.
He had grown too careless...
Right now, he had to hold up Kuroshio Island, and his hands could not leave his load, leaving him completely unable to fend off any subsequent attacks from Alien Magma.
Besides, even if he didn't have this burden, given his pathetic combat skills, he probably was no match for Alien Magma anyway.
This is bad...
Anxiety gripped Minghui's heart.
He couldn't afford to let go at this time either; the tsunami controlled by the Ghidora brothers wasn't just a single wave. Endless surges of seawater were still assaulting Kuroshio Island. The moment he let go and the island dropped back down, the remaining tsunami would still submerge it, rendering everything he had done completely useless.
"Damn it, Alien Magma, you bastard!"
Staring at Alien Magma, Minghui gritted his teeth in sheer hatred.
"New Ultra Warrior, obstacle to my race, go die!"
Alien Magma spoke, its yellow hair swaying incessantly with the currents. It raised the long sword in its left hand once more and slashed toward Minghui.
With his hands unable to move, Minghui could only twist his body in a desperate bid to dodge. Fortunately, Minghui successfully evaded this slash, but Alien Magma immediately followed up by swinging its right hand, catching Minghui squarely in the chest.
"Hah!"
Struck by this blow, Minghui cried out in pain.
Although Alien Magma's attack wasn't as destructive as Red Gillas's destructive beam, it was still more than he could casually endure. Under this blow, Minghui not only felt intense pain, but his grip on Kuroshio Island also became unstable, causing the island to tremble violently.
The residents on the island shrieked in terror.
Yet Minghui's crisis was far from over. Alien Magma raised its long sword again, preparing to thrust forward.
Having just taken that heavy blow, Minghui's reactions were severely dulled by the immense pain, making it extremely difficult for him to dodge this attack. He could only watch helplessly as the sharp blade thrust toward his chest.
"Oh no!"
Alien Magma's blade was already inches from Minghui's chest when suddenly, a heavy wave of pressure plunged straight down into the depths of the sea and enveloped Alien Magma.
Under the influence of this force, Alien Magma's attack was forced to a halt, and its entire body grew sluggish and dazed, standing frozen in place.
"It's Ultra Telekinesis!"
Minghui's eyes lit up as he recognized the source of this power. Lord Seven had finally made his move!
Looking at the completely defenseless Alien Magma before him, Minghui desperately wanted to take the opportunity to finish it off. Unfortunately, he lacked any lethal attack skills at the moment—far from enough to kill Alien Magma.
Left with no choice, he had to abandon this tempting idea. Then, gathering all his remaining strength, he raised his leg and delivered a fierce kick straight to Alien Magma's face.
Though he was only a low-ranking warrior, he was still an Ultraman; the power of this kick was not to be underestimated. It directly sent the completely unprepared Alien Magma flying, blasting it straight up out of the sea and into the air above the surface.
"Ha, awesome! I'll leave Alien Magma's life for Leo to settle himself."
Under Dan Moroboshi's Ultra Telekinesis, the Gillas brothers were also paralyzed and unable to move.
Seeing this, Leo—who had been beaten senseless by the two monsters—was momentarily at a loss, but he quickly reacted and moved in to attack the Gillas brothers.
He first tried to seize the chance to kill them, but realized this wasn't something he could accomplish in a short time. Remembering Minghui's instructions, he had to settle for the second-best option: breaking off the horns on the heads of the Gillas brothers.
Soon, Dan could no longer sustain the exertion, and the Ultra Telekinesis vanished.
Freed from the control of the Ultra Telekinesis, the Gillas brothers snapped back to their senses. Realizing the horns on their heads were gone, panic seized them.
Many of their abilities relied on the horns on their heads to be executed. Now that their horns were broken, many skills were unusable—including their greatest trump card: the Gillas Spin!
The Gillas brothers immediately lost their will to fight and emitted a blinding screen of light from their eyes, unleashing a massive cloud of yellow smoke that shrouded both of their figures.
When the yellow smoke dissipated, they had completely vanished.
Alien Magma, being naturally cautious, had already slipped away prior to this.
"Heh!"
Clenching his fist, Leo turned his head to look beneath the surface of the sea and nodded at Minghui.
Immediately afterward, a beam of red light flashed between his eyes.
The currents around Minghui churned as the rocks that had previously broken away floated back up, reattaching themselves to the pillars supporting the island.
Watching this scene, Minghui felt a pang of envy: "Roar of the Leo constellation, badass!"
With that, he relaxed his grip. Unable to hold on any longer, amidst a rapid flashing of the color timer on his chest, he dissolved into light and vanished.
