Chapter 5

"Mr. Minghui, is there any way you can help me defeat the Gillas brothers?" Knowing that Minghui had a solution, Feng Yuan sounded rather impatient.
"No need to be so formal; just call me Minghui." Minghui waved his hand, then held up two fingers. "There are two ways. The first requires an assistant. If you could separate the Gillas brothers and stop them from using their Gillas spin, you could take them out one by one. But since Seven cannot help you right now, that option is off the table."
Feng Yuan’s lips parted, but the words "Aren't you still here?" ultimately remained unspoken.
"For the second method, Feng Yuan, do you understand relative rest?"
"Relative rest?" Feng Yuan blinked in confusion.
"Exactly." Minghui nodded, then swiped a finger rapidly in front of him. "When you are stationary, the enemy's movements seem very fast."
"But..." Minghui held up another finger, swiping both before Feng Yuan’s eyes. "If you maintain the same speed as the enemy, then to you, the enemy is at rest."
"I see!" Feng Yuan realized with a jolt. "In that case, next time the Gillas brothers use their Gillas spin, I just need to match their speed to attack them! Though, I'll have to watch out for the long horns on their backs..."
"That won't be necessary." Minghui smiled and patted Feng Yuan on the shoulder. "Their horns are too large; they’re not easy to strike once they’re spinning. Even if you could land a hit, it would only be on their backs, where their defenses are strongest. That’s not a good choice. We can attack from above and strike their heads directly!"
"Right! That would be an effective attack!" Feng Yuan’s eyes lit up, his heart filled with excitement.
This could actually work!
Despite having lowered some of his defenses toward Minghui, Feng Yuan wasn't a fool; he didn't blindly believe everything the man said. But after running through the logic in his mind, he realized the method was highly feasible, which lowered his guard even further.
Even if he wasn't certain whether Minghui was truly an Ultraman, it appeared he had no malicious intent.
"Don't get too excited yet. Can you even keep up with their speed right now?" Minghui poured a bucket of cold water on his enthusiasm.
Feng Yuan’s wide grin stiffened. He did a quick mental calculation and then said, somewhat awkwardly, "I suppose... I can't."
"So..." Minghui drew out the word.
"So?" Feng Yuan asked, puzzled.
"So, get back to training!"
"Oh, right! Understood!"
...
It had to be said that the equipment in the club was quite comprehensive. In the original story, one could find a whole array of strange contraptions here.
One had to admit, President Omura was quite the man.
Under Feng Yuan’s guidance, the two soon found the equipment used in the original story to train Feng Yuan’s spinning ability. With a classic shout of "Ya!", Feng Yuan began his "magical spinning workout."
"Bang!"
Feng Yuan couldn't handle the speed of the rotation yet and fell down after only a short time.
But Feng Yuan didn't care; he just turned to look at Minghui. "Again!"
"Yuan, Mr. Minghui, why are you two here? Did something happen when you went out earlier?"
Takeshi Nomura stepped out from the side.
"Uh, this..." Feng Yuan didn't know how to answer. He couldn't exactly say, "I just have a feeling he’s not human," could he?
"You know how it is, Feng Yuan is a martial artist, and I know a thing or two about combat. Feng Yuan noticed this, so we’ve been having a bit of a martial arts exchange," Minghui said with a smile.
In reality, he just had a sturdy physique; he didn't know the first thing about fighting!
"So that’s it!" Takeshi Nomura believed Minghui’s explanation. He then looked at Feng Yuan’s slightly disheveled state and asked with some confusion, "Then what are you doing now?"
"Just a little training method for martial artists," Minghui smiled slightly.
"That's amazing! Let me help too!" Takeshi Nomura offered enthusiastically.
Watching the warm-hearted, innocent young man, Minghui shrugged and handed him the rope. After a few simple instructions, Takeshi Nomura happily went off to pull the rope.
Feng Yuan quietly breathed a sigh of relief. If it had been up to him to explain, he wouldn't have known what to say. Luckily, Minghui had smoothed it over.
The day passed quickly with Feng Yuan’s training. His spinning ability had indeed improved, but he still hadn't reached the required standard.
It is worth noting that during Feng Yuan’s breaks, Minghui also completed his fitness instructor entrance test.
For the performance-based portions, Minghui relied on his enhanced physique to pass with ease. As for the practical combat portion, Feng Yuan stepped in personally, allowing Minghui to pass after some light pulling of his punches.
With that, on his fourth day after transmigrating into the Leo world, Minghui had finally found a proper job that could support him.
"This is nice..."
Looking at the people around him offering congratulations, Minghui sighed. This time, it was a genuine feeling; he finally didn't have to worry about food and shelter.
The next day, Feng Yuan’s spin training continued.
Minghui stood to the side, watching Feng Yuan spinning rapidly. To be honest, he was itching to try it himself.
He hadn't forgotten that the System listed his martial arts ability as "none." If he could train and grow stronger at the same time, it would certainly be a good thing.
It was better than one day encountering a monster and being swatted down to the ground in a single blow.
*Tap, tap, tap...*
A crisp sound of a cane hitting the floor echoed through the room. Minghui turned to see a man wearing the orange-yellow MAC uniform and walking with a cane entering the training hall.
"Lord Seven..."
Dan Moroboshi walked into the hall and immediately spotted Feng Yuan spinning rapidly in the air. A flash of surprise crossed his eyes as he shouted, "Feng Yuan!"
"Captain?" Feng Yuan responded, hurriedly coming to a stop and running over to Dan Moroboshi.
"Feng Yuan, what are you doing?" Dan Moroboshi asked.
"Captain, I've found a way to defeat the monster!" Feng Yuan said, excited. "Oh no, to be precise, it's a method taught to me by Minghui!"
"Minghui?" Dan Moroboshi frowned, looked in the direction Feng Yuan was pointing, and his expression changed instantly. "Feng Yuan, he is not from Earth!"
Feng Yuan added, "He said he is an Ultraman."
After spending the last two days together, Feng Yuan was already inclined to believe this claim, but he needed Dan Moroboshi to judge whether it was true or false.
Please let it be true!
Watching Minghui walk over, Feng Yuan felt a twinge of worry in his heart.
Minghui walked up to the two, gave Feng Yuan a slight smile to reassure him, and then looked at Dan Moroboshi. "Nice to meet you, Captain Moroboshi. I am Minghui."
"You claim to be an Ultraman, but you don't look like you're from the Land of Light," Dan Moroboshi said, his gaze sharp and scrutinizing.
"No, I am not from the Land of Light. I came from space, and I achieved evolution at the Peak of Warriors on Planet O-50." Minghui had already prepared his story, and he looked quite confident as he spoke.
"Planet O-50? I have heard of it. It has indeed produced Ultramen." Dan Moroboshi nodded.
"That's great!" Feng Yuan’s face lit up with joy.
"However..." Dan Moroboshi raised his voice, his expression turning grave.
"You are lying!"
