"Minghui, an emergency has come up. I need to rush back to MAC headquarters, so the rest of your training will have to wait until I get back." Upon receiving the urgent notice from MAC, Feng Yuan was eager to rush back to headquarters.
Beside him, Minghui had one hand pressed against his chest, eyes closed as if sensing something. Hearing Feng Yuan's words, he opened his eyes with a look of helpless exasperation. "What the hell kind of headquarters are you going to at a time like this?"
Seeing the bewildered look on Feng Yuan's face, Minghui sighed. "Didn't you sense it? The Ghillass brothers are closing in on Kuroshio Island again."
He had thought they still had some time, but he hadn't expected Alien Magma to move so fast. Feng Yuan hadn't fully mastered the Rotating Flying Kick yet, and facing the Ghillass brothers now would put him at a severe disadvantage.
"What?" Feng Yuan was startled. He then focused his senses, and his expression sank completely.
"Damn it, why now of all times?!"
"There's no help for it, Feng Yuan. Even though you haven't mastered the Rotating Flying Kick yet, you have to stop them right now! Not only can the Ghillass brothers perform the Ghillass Spin, but they can also control tidal waves—enough to sink Kuroshio Island! And there are still thousands of people living on that island!" Minghui looked at Feng Yuan and spoke in a deep voice.
Minghui had been torn. He had considered following the original storyline and playing it safe, which, thanks to his knowledge of the original events, would have kept his personal risks to a minimum.
Yet, in the end, he had made a different choice. It wasn't just because he couldn't bear to watch thousands of innocent people die a tragic death; it was also for Feng Yuan! He knew that if Feng Yuan didn't go, it would become an eternal pain buried deep in his heart.
He could never forget that lonely old man kneeling on Kuroshio Island in *Ultraman Mebius*.
The hero he had admired in his childhood should never have to suffer such a devastating tragedy again!
"I understand." Feng Yuan nodded heavily, his eyes resolute.
Minghui placed a hand on Feng Yuan's shoulder, a hint of worry in his gaze. "The power of your Rotating Flying Kick isn't enough yet. It won't be enough to defeat the Ghillass brothers in a single blow. So you mustn't use that move in this battle, or they'll be on their guard next time, making them even harder to defeat."
"In this fight, try attacking the horns on their heads. Many of their abilities are channeled through those horns; once they're interrupted, they'll likely retreat. Remember, your objective for this battle is simply to drive them off—don't push yourself too hard. When you've truly mastered the Rotating Flying Kick, that will be the time for the decisive battle!"
"Got it! I'm going!" Keeping Minghui's advice in mind, Feng Yuan turned and ran outside.
Arriving outside the club, Feng Yuan hardened his gaze and struck a pose.
Just then, Minghui's voice suddenly rang out from behind him. "Wait."
Feng Yuan turned his head to see Minghui walking out of the club. Minghui took a deep breath and said, "Take me with you."
Seeing the look in Minghui's eyes, Feng Yuan didn't ask questions; he simply gave a silent nod.
"Leo!"
As the Leo Spark flashed with dazzling brilliance, a fiery red figure soared straight up into the air and flew toward Kuroshio Island.
Standing on Ultraman Leo's palm, the objects below and around them rapidly stretched out and vanished behind them in a blur.
Yet Minghui was in no mood to appreciate this rare scenery. He kept his hand on his chest, feeling the eager energy pulsing within him, and thought silently to himself, "Perhaps today is the day I make my official debut."
Then, he raised his head and cast his gaze toward the sky, as if piercing through vast distances to catch sight of MAC headquarters far out in space: "Hurry up and get here, Seven!"
..............
MAC Space Headquarters.
"Commander! The appearance of Ultraman Leo has been detected! Judging by his trajectory, he's heading toward Kuroshio Island!"
Momoi Haruko sat in front of the monitoring equipment, turning her head to call out anxiously to Dan Moroboshi.
"What?"
Dan Moroboshi was somewhat surprised. Then, realizing something, his expression shifted instantly. "Check the situation on Kuroshio Island!"
"Yes." Momoi Haruko manipulated the equipment in front of her a few times, then let out a startled cry. "It's monsters! Monsters are closing in on Kuroshio Island!"
"As I thought! Damn it!" Dan Moroboshi clenched his fists tightly and issued an order. "MAC team! Immediate dispatch!"
"Sir!" "Sir!" "Sir!" .........
.............
"Roar!"
The single horns on the foreheads of the Ghillass brothers continuously emitted blue beams that struck the ocean surface. Under the influence of the blue beams, the once-calm sea began to churn, gradually swelling into massive tidal waves that slowly closed in on Kuroshio Island.
The people living on the island spotted the sight, terror written across their faces. The fainthearted collapsed to the ground, despairing in the face of the impending disaster, but the majority began fleeing toward the center of the island.
"A tsunami is coming! Run!"
"Monsters! It's monsters!"
"Help!"
Once panic sets in among a crowd, everyday order ceases to function entirely.
People shoved and trampled one another as they fled. Soon, individuals were knocked to the ground, while those beside them could no longer spare a thought for anyone else, running for their very lives and even trampling over the fallen.
In an instant, Kuroshio Island transformed into a living hell.
Ever since he had become an Ultraman, special abilities had gradually begun to manifest within Minghui, allowing him to clearly perceive the tragic state of Kuroshio Island from a great distance.
The conditions on the island caused him to frown deeply. He turned his gaze toward Leo's sharp-featured profile and said, "Put me down on Kuroshio Island, and go on ahead, Leo. Remember what I told you."
Leo nodded, leaping from the sky down into the sea beside Kuroshio Island, his heavy frame crashing into the water and kicking up massive sheets of spray.
He carefully placed Minghui onto the shore. At that moment, the vast amount of water blasted into the air began to fall back down, turning into a curtain of rain.
Through the veil of rain, even Leo's towering figure appeared somewhat hazy in Minghui's eyes. He saw Leo give him a nod before turning and charging toward the Ghillass brothers.
"Good luck," Minghui murmured softly.
"Mommy, sob, sob, sob~"
A burst of crying caught his attention. Minghui turned his head to see a little girl standing all alone near the shoreline.
Not far behind her, people were screaming as they fled toward the interior of the island. Not a single person noticed the little girl—or perhaps they did, but they simply no longer had the capacity to care.
Minghui walked over, scooped the little girl up into his arms, and used his enhanced eyesight to scan his surroundings. Before long, he spotted a woman running anxiously against the flow of the crowd toward them.
"Sakurako!"
The woman called out with difficulty. The shoving of the surrounding throng made even standing upright a struggle, yet she still fought her way through the crowd, inching step by step toward the shore.
Another person collided with her, and the woman finally lost her footing, tumbling backward.
Despair flickered across the woman's face; falling in the midst of such a dense crowd meant she might never get back up again.
And more importantly...
Sakurako...
Yet, just as she was about to fall, an arm suddenly shot out and yanked her upright.
The woman raised her head in a daze, only to find a young man standing protectively in front of her. Amidst the surging, chaotic crowd, the young man stood like a reef in the ocean—no matter how fiercely the surrounding throng battered against him, he remained unshaken.
And right there in his arms, her own daughter was sobbing and lunging toward her.
"Sakurako!"
"Run for your lives!" Minghui warned the mother and daughter as they wept in each other's arms.
"Thank you! Thank you!" The woman hugged her daughter tightly, repeatedly bowing her thanks to Minghui.
By then, however, Minghui was no longer paying them any mind. He turned around and charged straight toward the tidal wave that was about to crash onto the shore.
Before the towering wall of water, Minghui's figure appeared impossibly small and insignificant, yet he rushed forward without a shred of hesitation.
Collapsed buildings, shoving crowds, a mother and daughter weeping in each other's embrace........
Scene after scene flashed through Minghui's mind, and the energy churning within his body grew more restless by the second. As he ran, he felt as though a roaring flame inside him was about to erupt. The corners of his mouth curled upward as his gaze grew steadily resolute.
"In the name of salvation..."
"Servis!!!"
