Having passed through the resonant ripples, the three of them arrived inside a standard hemispherical cavern. The rock walls were pure white, possessing a texture like white jade. Suspended right in the center was an exquisitely carved golden metal sphere, slowly rotating and measuring about two meters in diameter. There were no visible means of securing the metal sphere, and it made not a sound as it rotated. Though no rust was visible, a single glance revealed that the object was of immense antiquity. Other than this, the cave was completely empty. There were no entrances or exits to be seen, nor was it clear where the ventilation came from, yet they felt no difficulty breathing.
