"Pop!"
At that very moment, Long Chen spat out a mouthful of blood. A fissure suddenly appeared in the Power of Origin on the stone gate. "Go! Now!"
Qin Feiyang did not hesitate for a second. He grabbed Mo Xiaoke and flashed through the stone gate like lightning, with Long Chen following close behind.
The moment they passed through, the Power of Origin on the stone gate rapidly sealed shut once more.
"Are you alright?" Qin Feiyang asked, looking at Long Chen with concern.
"I'm fine. Intervening with the Power of Origin is just incredibly draining, so I suffered a bit of backlash," Long Chen replied, scanning the Forbidden Sea ahead.
He still had to cross the Forbidden Sea for his mission to be considered complete.
"Who goes there?" A shout suddenly rang out.
A black-clad figure stood on the floating island above. He was a middle-aged man, eight feet tall, with muscles as developed as a small giant.
"Someone is still guarding this place?" Qin Feiyang and Long Chen exchanged a surprised glance, looking up at the man.
"You are..." When the man looked down and saw their faces, his expression changed violently.
Who in the Four Continents or the Central Dynasty didn't know Qin Feiyang and Long Chen by now? The middle-aged man possessed considerable strength and had mastered the Heavenly Dao Will. Yet, looking at them, he couldn't help but tremble.
Long Chen glanced at him but paid him no further mind, merging his Divine Domain with the Forbidden Sea.
"How did you get out?" the man demanded, torn between fear and anger. He felt a bit bolder once he remembered that the floating island was protected by a barrier.
The island had always been shielded. The last time they had come here, the barrier had forced them to go through a great deal of trouble.
"That's none of your business. If you’re smart, stay on the island and stay out of it," Qin Feiyang said indifferently.
Long Chen had already opened a Time-Space Channel. Manipulating the Power of Laws and interfering with the Power of Origin had pushed him to his limit; he couldn't afford to waste time here.
"Hurry!" Long Chen urged. His body was swaying, his face pale.
Qin Feiyang grabbed Mo Xiaoke and raced toward the Time-Space Channel. Just then, the burly man charged out from the island.
"Huh?" Both Qin Feiyang and Long Chen were stunned. This man actually dared to come out? Was he not afraid of death?
"Die!" The man snarled viciously. A surge of the Power of Origin emerged, striking toward the three of them.
"So he has the Power of Origin. No wonder he’s so arrogant," the two men realized.
There were over a dozen strands of it. In the Four Continents, over a dozen strands of the Power of Origin would be an invincible force. But before the three of them, it was clearly not enough.
"Xiaoke, finish this quickly," Long Chen urged, truly reaching his limit.
"Understood," Mo Xiaoke nodded. Dealing with such an ant wouldn't take long.
Boom!
She took a step forward and slapped toward the man. There was no Power of Laws, nor any Profound Truths of Laws, leaving the man completely bewildered. What was happening? They sent a little girl, and she didn't even activate her Profound Truths of Laws? Did they look down on him?
He possessed over a dozen strands of the Power of Origin!
"Die!" The man roared. He didn't hold back or grow careless just because Mo Xiaoke was a child. The strands of the Power of Origin transformed into a long sword, slashing down with fury.
"So noisy," Mo Xiaoke muttered, rubbing her ears. She swatted at it with her palm.
A deafening explosion echoed as the sword formed by the Power of Origin collapsed and shattered instantly.
"What?" The man stood dumbfounded, filled with disbelief. This was the Power of Origin! More than a dozen strands of it! Even Qin Feiyang, with his Three Thousand Avatars, Ultimate Profundity of the Law of Life and Death, and dual Heavenly Dao Will, wouldn't dare take that head-on!
Yet, a little girl had shattered it with a single swat. He hadn't misseen it—it was just a bare-handed swat. She hadn't even used Profound Truths of Laws, or even Divine Power, yet she possessed such terrifying combat strength? Was he dreaming?
To the man, this was impossible. People like him didn't even know about the New Realm, so in his eyes, the Ultimate Profundity was the strongest means possible. The Power of Origin was an invincible existence that surpassed it; nothing could contend with it.
But at this moment, a seven or eight-year-old girl had crushed over a dozen strands with her bare hands. The impact of such an absurd reality on him was immense.
*Whoosh!*
Mo Xiaoke appeared before him before he could react, his eyes bulging like two balls.
"Keep him alive," Qin Feiyang commanded.
Mo Xiaoke’s hand descended. The man finally snapped back to reality. Seeing the small hand falling toward him, he shivered violently and immediately turned to fly back to the floating island. Only the island could save him.
However, he didn't know that even if he reached the island, it would be a dead end. With Mo Xiaoke’s strength, breaking the barrier would be effortless. Furthermore, since he had stepped out under her gaze, he wouldn't be returning.
*Crack!*
Mo Xiaoke grabbed the man’s head and squeezed. With a agonizing shriek, his head exploded instantly. Flesh and blood splattered everywhere! His Divine Soul fled from the remains, trembling with terror. He was a master of the Heavenly Dao Will! And he had been crushed by a little girl with one hand. What kind of monster was this?
Mo Xiaoke waved her hand, sealing his Divine Soul immediately, and returned to Qin Feiyang and Long Chen’s side. Qin Feiyang promptly suppressed the soul within the Ancient Castle.
Though it took time to describe, the entire process lasted only a heartbeat. The three of them stepped into the Time-Space Channel.
The next moment, they appeared above a jungle in the Eastern Continent.
The Eastern Continent was once the stronghold of the Sea Tribes and the Beast Tribes. While beasts still roamed, one could now see traces of humans, the God Clan, and the Purple-Gold Divine Dragon Clan everywhere. All three races had established bases—cities—in the East.
In the past, no one dared to set foot in the Eastern Continent, as anyone who entered would become a plaything for the Beast King, Beast Emperor, or Beast Monarch. When Qin Feiyang and his group first entered, they had seen this with their own eyes and helped rescue some captives. Because of those past atrocities, once the Beast and Sea Tribes were decimated, the three races had come to build bases in the East, seizing the initiative to ensure those tribes could never rise again.
The Beast and Sea Tribes had been trying to develop over the years, but they remained suppressed. The Sea Tribes were slightly better off, mostly living in the ocean and rarely coming ashore. Because of Hai Zidong’s constraints, they remained relatively obedient, shrinking back into the sea to recuperate.
As for Hai Zidong, Qin Feiyang had gifted him the legacy of the Ultimate Profundity of the six Supreme Laws, but he didn't know how his cultivation was progressing. Could this chess piece finally prove his worth? Qin Feiyang hadn't dwelled on it, but he was certainly looking forward to it.
...
Above the mountains, Qin Feiyang scanned the surroundings, seeing many Fierce Beasts hidden in the woods. He waved his hand, and three figures appeared: the National Lord, the God Monarch, and the Supreme.
"The situation is critical," Qin Feiyang said gravely.
"We understand. We will return immediately to arrange the evacuation," the three nodded.
Long Chen added, "There's no time for slow arrangements. Force the relocation; you can explain to them later."
"Understood. We'll head back," the three said, opening a Time-Space Channel and quickly departing.
Qin Feiyang turned to Long Chen and smiled. "You should go to the True Martial World to rest."
"Where are you planning to go?" Long Chen asked suspiciously.
"To the village," Qin Feiyang replied.
"The village!" A sharp light flashed in Long Chen's eyes. He laughed, "Suddenly, I don't feel that tired. Why don't I tag along?"
"Uh!" Qin Feiyang was taken aback. This guy perked up the moment he heard about the village.
"What is this village?" Mo Xiaoke asked, looking at them with curiosity. It sounded like it might be fun.
"You'll see when we get there," Qin Feiyang chuckled. He opened a Time-Space Channel and pulled Mo Xiaoke inside.
Long Chen popped a Life Divine Pill into his mouth and quickly followed them in.
