It cast blurred, indistinct shapes throughout the cavern—like illusory bubbles in a dream, elusive yet pregnant with unknown danger. A trace of unconcealed exhaustion marked Zhang Yue's face, the residue of continuous combat and a lengthy exploration. More tears marred his clothes; several ripped openings fluttered slightly with his every movement, silently recounting the cruelty of the battle. Sweat soaked his hair, plastering it tightly against his forehead, while a few stray locks hung in disarray before his eyes, adding to his disheveled appearance. "The place is getting weirder and weirder, Two-headed Wolf. We'd better be careful." His voice echoed in the empty cave, carrying a trace of imperceptible tension, swallowed up somewhat by the oppressive environment until it sounded rather faint. The Two-headed Wolf let out a low whimper, deep and full of vigilance.
