The dark shadows surged forward like a tide, carrying boundless malice and chill, as if determined to completely swallow everyone up. Several new wounds had appeared on Zhang Zhi's body, fresh blood staining his clothes. Every wound sent a piercing agony through his frame, yet his gaze remained resolute, and his sword slashed on unceasingly. The blade's shadow flickered in the darkness, bearing his unyielding will and tenacious fighting spirit. "Even if I spend my very last ounce of strength, I will never back down!" he roared inwardly, sweat mixed with blood sliding down his determined face. Lin Wan'er's spell was growing dim. She panted heavily, her beautiful face covered in exhaustion and tension. Every time she cast a spell, it felt as though her body were being hollowed out, yet she still gritted her teeth and persisted in providing meager support for everyone. "I cannot fall, I cannot... Everyone still needs me." She continuously pumped herself up in her heart, her hands trembling as she struggled to gather her remaining magic. The young man's physical strength was also nearing exhaustion; his movements grew sluggish, and his breathing became rapid and heavy. Yet he still cursed as he shouted, "Come on, you bastards, your grandpa here can still fight! If you've got the guts, knock me down!" A fire of defiance burned within his eyes, and though he swung his weapon with increasing difficulty, he refused to give up.
