Having successfully shaken off the relentless pursuit of the mysterious person, Zhang Yue, Ziyan, and the others hurried along without stopping. Through many hardships, they finally found a relatively safe haven deep within a secluded, seldom-traveled valley. This valley seemed like a corner forgotten by the mortal world, surrounded by towering peaks that soared into the clouds like giants guarding this tranquil land. Lush trees intertwined into a sea of emerald green upon the mountains, and as a gentle breeze swept through, the branches and leaves rustled softly, as if whispering ancient secrets. A crystal-clear stream wound its way through the valley like an agile silver snake. The water burbled as it flowed, striking the stones along the banks and splashing into sparkling droplets. Fish swam happily in the water, occasionally leaping above the surface and sending ripples spreading outward. As the group stepped into the valley, their nerves, taut for days, finally relaxed a little. Lifeng seemed drained of all his strength; he collapsed straight onto the ground, panting heavily, and muttered, "Oh dear, we can finally catch our breath. This journey has completely worn me out."
