Chapter 186

1,402 words7 minutes read

The Sun God of Huáxià consists of the Kuāfù tribe leader and the Nine-Spirited Divine Crow, Jīngwèi, differing entirely from the Sun God of the Western world. The Sun God of the Western world is Apollo of ancient Greece, whereas in the East, upon the sacred Fusang tree, the Golden Crows dwell and regulate the rising and setting of the sun. The Fusang wood is the birthplace of the sun, and ten Golden Crows reside upon its branches, taking turns each day to transform into the sun and illuminate the earth. Among them, a Golden Crow named "Jiǔyáng" possessed a mischievous nature and often slipped away from Fusang in private to frolic and play between heaven and earth. One day, as usual, Jiǔyáng sneaked out of Fusang and unexpectedly crossed paths with a beautiful immortal fairy.
