Chapter 1: I’m Pregnant
Wang Han was awakened by the sound of his phone.
He noticed it was an unfamiliar number. Aside from that, there were several text messages, all from the same number:
"Where are you?"
"I’m pregnant with your child."
"Can we meet?"
Wang Han ignored them, casually opened the app store, and downloaded the National Anti-Fraud Center app.
"Damn it, don't even think about scamming a single cent out of me!"
He put on his food delivery uniform and lit a cigarette. Turning his head, he saw a few of his colleagues huddled together, whispering about local news in Jiangning City.
Wang Han puffed on his cigarette. "What are you guys whispering about?"
Fatty shook his phone. "The young lady from the wealthy Su Family in Jiangning City is getting married to the son of the city's richest man."
Wang Han tied his shoelaces. "What does it matter to you, someone earning five thousand a month, who she marries?"
Fatty held up his phone. "The point is, this Su Family miss is drop-dead gorgeous! But the rich man's son is not only ugly, he’s a total scumbag—rumored to have contracted syphilis. It’s a real shame for the Su girl. A total waste of a good woman being ruined by a pig."
Wang Han took a quick glance. When he saw the woman on the screen, he froze.
"Holy cow!"
Feeling he might not have seen clearly after just waking up, Wang Han took the phone for a closer look.
Fatty laughed. "Brother Han, do you think it's a waste too?"
Wang Han’s expression turned strange as he looked at the woman in the photo. "I’ve slept with this woman!"
Fatty snatched the phone back, looking at him with disdain. "Alright, alright, Brother Han, stop being jealous and bragging. Yesterday you were bragging about sleeping with an international film star, and today it’s a wealthy socialite."
Xiao Hei, Zhang Qiang, chimed in with a scoff. "Our Brother Han does nothing but brag. When we were drinking the other day, he even claimed to be a world-famous arms dealer."
Fatty grinned. "That's nothing. Brother Han also claimed he was the head honcho of the Capital’s princelings! Said the wealthy families in the Capital all treat him with respect."
The two looked at each other and laughed derisively. "Brother Han, if you’re that amazing, why are you delivering food?"
Wang Han puffed on his cigarette. "You two don't understand squat. This is what you call a master hiding in plain sight!"
Despite his words, his mind drifted far away.
He had just returned from abroad that day and gotten drunk with some brothers. When he woke up the next morning, he found a cold, stunning beauty lying beside him. He hadn't expected her to be the heiress of the Su Family, a prominent Jiangning City household. He still remembered the scene vividly. But after that day, she had wiped her hands clean and never contacted him again.
Wang Han grabbed his electric scooter. After drifting around the world for over a decade, he had returned as the "Emperor of Han," a legend in the underground world, and the master of "Han City," a place that gathered the world's greatest villains. He was supposed to return to report for duty, but the old man had told him his "killing aura" was too heavy and that he needed to wash it away by living among the common folk.
And so, he had donned the yellow jacket to deliver food.
Fatty sighed. "Damn, why do I look so much like the rich guy's son? He gets to marry such a pretty woman, while I’m stuck delivering food."
Wang Han got his scooter ready. "Blame it on your poor choice of pose when you were being reincarnated."
Fatty glared at him. "Come on, Brother Han, what’s the difference between us? Don't laugh at the pot calling the kettle black."
Xiao Hei Zhang Qiang immediately added sarcastically, "Fatty, what are you saying? Brother Han is an international fugitive who’s slept with the Su heiress. How can you compare yourself to him?"
Fatty curled his lip. "Anyone can brag. I’ve slept with Beyoncé too."
Wang Han ignored them and headed to the restroom.
When Zhang Qiang turned around, he saw a Maserati pull up outside the delivery station. A gorgeous figure stepped out. She wore a white lace-trimmed blouse that hugged her figure, a tight skirt revealing her slender waist, and black silk stockings over long, shapely legs, capped off with high heels. Her skin was porcelain-white, and even without makeup, she was breathtaking. A pair of rimless glasses on her cold, elegant face added to her allure.
"Holy shit!" Zhang Qiang swallowed hard, his eyes glued to her.
Fatty followed his gaze, and upon seeing her, his throat bobbed. He felt a sense of familiarity, so he quickly checked his phone. It was the same person in the photo—even more beautiful in person.
"The Su heiress, Su Qi? Why would she come here?" Fatty asked in shock. Why would such a high-born lady come to a place for nobodies?
Su Qi walked in, the crisp sound of her heels clicking on the floor.
Zhang Qiang rubbed his hands like a fly and went up to her. "Hello, who are you looking for?"
Su Qi’s beautiful eyes swept over him. "Is there someone named Wang Han here?"
Zhang Qiang and Fatty were both stunned, looking toward the restroom.
"Yes, what do you want with him?"
Su Qi didn’t answer; she just watched as Wang Han walked out of the restroom, still zipping his pants. When she saw him in his delivery uniform, her brow furrowed.
"Wang Han!" she called out.
Wang Han, still holding a cigarette, turned around. He froze for a few seconds. "What do you want with me?"
Wang Han was confused. Su Qi looked at this man she’d had a one-night stand with. Every time she recalled that night’s madness, she would blush. She had been drunk after learning she was to be a sacrifice in a business marriage and had ended up in the wrong room.
Over the past few days, her period hadn't arrived. She had bought a pregnancy test, and when she saw the two lines, she panicked. After calming down, she immediately contacted the hotel front desk to get Wang Han's contact information.
"Why didn't you answer my calls?" Su Qi demanded.
Zhang Qiang and Fatty were dumbfounded, looking at Wang Han with envy, jealousy, and resentment.
Wang Han was dazed, then recalled the unfamiliar number. He remembered the content of the text about pregnancy and immediately had a bad premonition. Sure enough.
"I’m pregnant," Su Qi said coldly.
Wang Han flicked his cigarette butt into the trash can. "What does your pregnancy have to do with me?"
His indifferent, heartless attitude made Su Qi sneer. Men were all the same.
"The child is yours."
With those five simple words, Wang Han’s head felt like it was going to explode. Zhang Qiang and Fatty were left gaping, their respect for Wang Han growing—so he hadn't been bragging after all.
Wang Han’s first reaction was that this woman was likely looking for someone to take the fall. *I don’t want to be a scapegoat!*
Before Wang Han could refuse, Su Qi added, "Come to the hospital with me."
She turned around and got back in her car.
Zhang Qiang and Fatty pushed Wang Han. "Brother Han, go! What are you waiting for?"
After getting into the car, Wang Han grimaced. "Is the child really mine?"
"Do you think there’s any point in lying to you?" Su Qi asked coldly.
Wang Han thought for a moment. "If the child really is mine, I will take responsibility for you and the child."
Su Qi retorted, "You’ll take responsibility? With what? By delivering food?"

Chapter 2: Abortion
Wang Han felt a headache coming on.
"What’s wrong with delivering food? It’s honest work, and I can definitely afford to raise a child."
He received only a cold scoff from Su Qi. "I am from the Su Family of Jiangning City. I think you know the status of the Su Family here."
Wang Han didn't care. "So what if you're the Su Family?"
"I’m also the fiancée of the richest man in Jiangning City’s son," Su Qi said through gritted teeth. This was what she feared most.
"And so what?" Wang Han didn't put the richest man in Jiangning City in his eyes at all.
Seeing Wang Han’s "barefoot man isn't afraid of the man in shoes" attitude, Su Qi felt a wave of irritation. She thought this man was just a stubborn, penniless peasant! He was definitely someone she couldn't rely on!
She slammed on the gas pedal, and the car shot forward. Wang Han’s head hit the seat back.
"Damn it! You did that on purpose, didn't you!"
They soon arrived at the hospital. Su Qi didn't get out immediately; she looked out the window, dazed.
Wang Han unbuckled his seatbelt. "Let’s go, what are you waiting for?"
Su Qi regained her senses and stared at him. "Are you really willing to take responsibility?"
Wang Han opened the car door. "If the child is truly mine, there’s no problem with me taking responsibility. But if the child isn't mine, I’m not playing the fool!"
Su Qi said every word clearly, "The child is yours!"
Wang Han felt a twinge in his teeth; he felt it shouldn't be such a coincidence. The odds of a "one-shot" success were too low. Su Qi turned her head, wiped her slightly reddened eyes, and got out of the car. Wang Han followed.
To his surprise, the process wasn't for a routine check-up.
"Holy cow! What are you doing?"
"Abortion," Su Qi said coldly.
When Wang Han heard that word, he was certain the child probably wasn't his. He felt like he was definitely being played for a fool.
"If the child is mine, you should have it!" Wang Han said without hesitation.
Su Qi stared into his eyes, let out a scoff, and said nothing more.
"Su Qi!" a nurse called out.
Su Qi lifted her head blankly, her eyes rimmed with red. She stood up to walk over, but stopped after two steps. She turned back to Wang Han and said, "I'll ask you one last time. Will you really take responsibility for the child?"
Wang Han was as sincere as before. "If the child is mine, I will certainly take responsibility for you and the child to the end!"
Su Qi looked away, a flash of determination in her eyes, and walked into the operating room.
Watching her go in, Wang Han muttered to himself, "Treating me like a total sucker!"
Inside the OR, the doctor held a long tube, preparing to insert it to extract the embryo. Su Qi suddenly interrupted, "I'm not having the abortion! Just let me lie here quietly for a moment!"
The doctor set the instruments down, respecting her decision.
Wang Han sat in the hallway. It was too stuffy, so he walked outside the hospital to have a cigarette. When Su Qi walked out of the OR and didn't see him, she felt disappointed and gave a bitter, internal laugh. She knew she couldn't rely on someone like him.
She walked out with unsteady steps. But to her surprise, just as she reached the door, she saw Wang Han rinsing his mouth and running back in. Upon seeing her, he reached out, took her bag, and steadied her. Though it was a small gesture, it brought Su Qi a flicker of comfort.
"I have no strength. Could you drive me home? Can you drive?" Su Qi asked.
Wang Han took the keys and kicked the wheel. "What’s there not to know about driving this piece of junk? I can even fly a fighter jet!"
Su Qi shook her head helplessly and got in. After Wang Han entered, she began, "This car is different from an ordinary one, it..."
Before she could finish, Wang Han skillfully started the car and revved the engine. Su Qi was stunned for several seconds. For the first time, she looked at this delivery driver with surprise. Such luxury cars were very different from ordinary ones. It would take a delivery person half a lifetime of working to death to afford one, let alone drive one.
"Where do you live?" Wang Han asked.
"Longwan Area B, Building 19." After giving the address, Su Qi closed her eyes.
Her phone in her pocket wouldn't stop vibrating. She picked it up and saw it was a call from the "old man." Wang Han picked it up.
"What's the matter?"
"There’s a bidding meeting at the Jianye Building tonight. A project in the new district is an indispensable part of our upcoming business layout. I’ll give you a billion. You go personally and make sure you win it!" the old man ordered.
"Alright."
"By the way, Lin Qingyun, the head of the Jiulong Chamber of Commerce’s Jiangning City branch, is one of our people. He will follow your orders."
"Got it."
The car eventually entered the high-end Longwan residential area. Longwan had four grades of apartments, from A to D. It was said that the most expensive villa in Area A was bought by a mysterious tycoon for 170 million. It made sense for Su Qi, the Su Family heiress, to live here.
Since getting in the car, Su Qi had been in a daze, completely distracted. Wang Han waved his hand in front of her face before she came back to her senses.
"We’re here."
Su Qi "oh"ed, and then, as if possessed, asked, "Do you want to come in and sit for a while?"
Wang Han toyed with his lighter. "Aren't you afraid I’ll do something to you?"
Su Qi sneered, "You’ve already slept with me once. Why would I be afraid of a second time?"
Wang Han jumped out of the car. "Stop! Stop right there! It’s a long road ahead; let’s not meet again."
Su Qi pushed the door open to follow him out, but having been distracted all day, she lost her footing and twisted her ankle. Wang Han was about to light a cigarette when he saw this and hurried over to support her. "You're clumsy as hell!"
Su Qi’s brows knit, and she glared at him. "Say that again!"
"Clumsy as hell! Ah! You bitch!"
Su Qi had bitten down on Wang Han’s shoulder, venting all her frustration, panic, and helplessness. Wang Han yelled in pain and slapped her on the rear.
*Smack!*
It bounced with a supple quality. The sensation was excellent.
Su Qi finally let go. Wang Han pulled his collar open to look. Damn it, a bloody tooth mark was left on his shoulder.
"Holy shit! Are you a dog?"
Su Qi lifted her chin, looking as if she’d finally gotten her revenge. She limped inside, adding, "I have medicine at home."
This time, Wang Han didn't argue and followed her in. He applied some medicine to his shoulder. Seeing Su Qi awkwardly trying to apply ointment to her ankle, Wang Han walked over and snatched the bottle from her to do it himself.
Holding her foot—they said you could tell if a woman was truly beautiful by her feet, and that proved true; Su Qi’s small feet were as white as jade and delicate. Su Qi tried to pull her foot back, but Wang Han held on firmly, causing her face to flush.
Looking at Wang Han, Su Qi grew dazed again, but the thought of being married into the wealthy Qin Family filled her with frustration.
Unexpectedly, the door opened at that moment. Su Qi’s mother, Yang Huimin, and her best friend, Lin Xuefu, walked in. Upon entering, they saw Su Qi and Wang Han.
"Nannan, what are you doing?" Yang Huimin asked.
Su Qi stood up hastily. Wang Han held the medicine bottle, explaining, "She twisted her..."
But before he could finish, Su Qi cut in, "I twisted my ankle."
What Wang Han never expected was for Su Qi to add, "So my boyfriend came in to help me apply medicine."

Chapter 3: Why Are You Here?
The silence that followed was suffocating.
Wang Han was completely dumbfounded. Yang Huimin rushed forward. "What did you say? This stinking delivery guy is your boyfriend?"
Wang Han had originally wanted to explain, but upon hearing her call him a "stinking delivery guy," his temper flared. "Who are you calling a stinking delivery guy?"
Yang Huimin yelled angrily, "Shut up! I wasn't asking you! Su Qi! What is going on here?"
Su Qi looked at her mother, who was acting like a tigress, and offered a bitter smile. "Mom, I was just joking. Why did you take it seriously? I twisted my ankle, and this delivery guy just brought me in."
Yang Huimin patted her chest. "Do you know you scared me to death? You're about to marry into the Qin Family. At a time like this, you cannot have any mishaps, or our entire Su Family will be doomed."
Su Qi offered a bitter smile. "I know, Mom."
Yang Huimin took Su Qi’s hand. "Nannan, Mom knows you’re suffering, but you know the Su Family’s current situation. Without the Qin Family’s help, we’ll go bankrupt. And the Qin Family has already promised that as long as you marry in, they will win that new district project in Jiangning City and do it with our family. Then the Su Family will make a comeback!"
Su Qi’s face turned pale, and she offered a bitter smile. "I know, Mom."
Yang Huimin took off her scarf. "As long as you know. You girl, you just know how to scare me. Claiming you found a delivery guy to be your boyfriend—even if my daughter’s taste was bad, she wouldn't go looking for a delivery guy."
"What’s wrong with being a delivery guy?" Wang Han flared up with an arrogant attitude.
Yang Huimin looked at him coldly. "What’s wrong? You’re an bottom-rung social outcast. My daughter is a lady of high standing. You’re a toad trying to eat swan meat—dreaming, are you?"
Seeing Wang Han about to explode, Su Qi immediately said, "Wang Han! You should go back first. Thank you."
Seeing Su Qi’s pleading eyes, Wang Han cursed and stormed out. After Yang Huimin went upstairs, Su Qi sat down, powerless.
Her best friend, Lin Xuefu, took her arm. "Nannan, what exactly is your relationship with that delivery guy just now?"
"None."
Lin Xuefu leaned in close to Su Qi. "You might be able to lie to your mother, but you want to lie to me too?"
Su Qi rubbed her small belly. "I’m pregnant with his child."
"Holy cow!"
Lin Xuefu screamed. "Are you serious? Are you kidding me?"
