Regaining her composure, Weining decided to ask directly upon entering the hall. With such a tremendous commotion, unless she were deaf or playing dumb with a deep hidden agenda, it was only natural for her to be curious. Once she asked, true or false, they would at least have to give her some perfunctory answer. She could also take the opportunity to make it clear that she was utterly and truly single. She was not worth their trouble at all; letting her, an eyesore, leave early would be for the best. After all, she had no attachments, and whatever was happening had little to do with her. Still, this habit of hers was bad and needed changing. Since she intended to accomplish things, she could not remain deaf and blind forever. As for today's inside story, she would simply have to observe carefully and investigate in secret. At the very least, there was the little demon star Nezha to fall back on; she refused to believe that bold and gossipy troublemaker could hold back from talking.
