The studio is on the seventh floor. After finishing her work, Shu Dong glanced at the time and realized it was almost time for the children to be let out of school. She started tidying up her things, but before she even finished, she heard a car horn blaring downstairs. Holding her handbag, Shu Dong walked out.
When she reached the bottom, Shu Dong spotted the black sedan parked directly across the street at a glance. Half the window was rolled down, and a man wearing sunglasses and showing only half his face was looking over in her direction.
Slowly pulling back her gaze, Shu Dong could not help the corners of her lips curling upward. She shook her head slightly and checked the traffic on the road, preparing to cross.
