Liu Guangyang’s face darkened. "If you can't do it, Mr. Xiang Feng, could you please stop wasting the time I need to get to the hospital?"
If it weren't for the fact that he knew Xiang Feng was a holder of a Green Bamboo Card, Liu Guangyang would have started cursing by now.
Xiang Feng replied, "What I mean is, I can not only relieve your pain but also remove the stones from your gallbladder without damaging the organ itself."
"Really? You aren't joking?" Liu Guangyang asked, sounding skeptical.
Seeing this, Xiang Feng grew annoyed. "If you don't believe me, go to the hospital right now. Don't keep me here and waste the time I could be using to think about my wife!"
"Mr. Xiang Feng, how exactly do you intend to treat me?"
Liu Guangyang still wanted to give it a try. Although Xiang Feng looked young, he was a Green Bamboo Card holder. His older brother had told him that anyone holding such a card was no ordinary person.
"I just need to perform some acupuncture on you first," Xiang Feng said.
"Acupuncture?" Liu Guangyang frowned slightly. He had tried acupuncture before, performed by famous traditional Chinese medicine doctors, but it had been completely ineffective.
"Yes!" Xiang Feng didn't want to waste any more breath; he simply nodded.
"Fine. Then I'll have to trouble you to give it a try, Mr. Xiang Feng."
Having made his decision, Liu Guangyang didn't dally. "Where shall we do it? Should I arrange a room?"
"No need, that's a waste of time. Just lift your shirt; it’ll only take a few minutes." As he spoke, Xiang Feng took out his cloth pouch containing silver needles.
"Right here?" Liu Guangyang looked at the busy surroundings and said awkwardly, "Mr. Xiang Feng, perhaps we should go to my car?"
"You're a grown man, are you afraid of people laughing at you?" Xiang Feng rolled his eyes. He pulled out the car keys Liu Ruyun had given him, pressed the unlock button, and said, "Fine, we'll use my wife's car."
Liu Guangyang glanced at the small, old BMW 3 Series and suggested, "Mr. Xiang Feng, how about my car instead? It has a more spacious interior, which should make it easier for you to apply the needles."
"That works too," Xiang Feng said nonchalantly.
Soon, he followed Liu Guangyang into a Porsche Cayenne, and they both sat in the back. As for Zhang Feng, he remained outside to keep watch.
"This car does have much more room, and it looks quite imposing. It must not have been cheap, right?" After getting in, Xiang Feng inspected the Cayenne’s interior, thinking to himself that once he made some money, he would buy one just like it for his goddess of a wife.
"It’s alright. This is the latest top-of-the-line Cayenne. I just picked it up a few days ago; it cost nearly two million in total. This is actually my first time driving it out." Liu Guangyang took off his shirt and smiled. "Brother Xiang, I can see you like this car. How about this: if you can relieve my pain today, I’ll give you this car as your medical fee."
"Alright, and since my fees are quite expensive, I’ll take the car in its place," Xiang Feng said, his eyes lighting up. "Lie down; I’m going to start the acupuncture."
"Understood!" Liu Guangyang lay down as instructed.
Xiang Feng held the silver needles, infusing them with internal energy. Then, his hands moved swiftly. Six silver needles were inserted into six acupuncture points on Liu Guangyang’s upper abdomen.
*Hummmm...*
As the last needle was set, a scorching flow of energy surged within Liu Guangyang’s chest. The six needles seemed to respond to some invisible force, vibrating in unison and emitting a soft, humming sound.
"Ugh!"
Within moments, Liu Guangyang felt the pain in his gallbladder vanish, replaced by an overwhelming sense of relief—a sensation so intense it felt as if something was gently massaging him from within. He couldn't help but let out a soft groan.
"Brother Feng’s acupuncture technique is meant to be pleasant, but could you stop making such lewd noises? You’re making me want to throw up the meal I just ate!" Xiang Feng snapped.
"Cough—sorry. I... I really just couldn't help it because it felt so good. I’ll make sure to hold it in now!" Liu Guangyang was mortified, his face turning bright red.
*Snap!*
"Out!"
Ignoring him, Xiang Feng waited about a minute before slapping Liu Guangyang’s belly and letting out a sharp shout. All six silver needles flew out simultaneously, turning into six slivers of silver light that landed in his hand.
"Does it still hurt?" Xiang Feng asked while tucking the needles back into his pouch.
"It’s really not painful anymore! This is incredible!" Liu Guangyang sat up, utterly shocked. When his gallbladder flared up, he’d sought out veteran doctors for acupuncture, but it never had any effect. Yet now, the pain was completely gone. Moreover, the way Xiang Feng had performed the procedure and the skill with which he had retrieved the needles were not only impressive to watch but clearly showed a deep mastery of the craft.
"Come find me tomorrow at Huisheng Hall on Dongmei Street. That’s the clinic I just opened today. I’ll prescribe you some medicine; take it for a few days, and the stones in your gallbladder will be cleared out," Xiang Feng said.
"Huisheng Hall? Got it. I’ll be sure to come see you tomorrow, Brother Xiang!" Liu Guangyang’s tone became much more intimate. As his brother had said, there was nothing ordinary about a Green Bamboo Card holder. This young man before him possessed medical skills so divine they put most old masters to shame.
"Hand it over!" Xiang Feng saw Liu Guangyang dressing and held out his hand.
"What?" Liu Guangyang didn't react immediately.
"The car keys, obviously!" Xiang Feng rolled his eyes. "You aren't planning on backing out, are you?"
"No, no! It's just that I feel a mere car is a bit low for a medical fee, isn't it?" Liu Guangyang explained while handing over the keys.
"It’s fine. You don't have some terminal illness; you were just facing surgery to remove your gallbladder. A two-million-yuan car is enough. If you feel like I haven't charged you enough, just bring me more patients later!" Xiang Feng snatched the keys from Liu Guangyang’s hand. "Remember to handle the transfer paperwork. Right, if there's nothing else, then... off you go! I won't be seeing you out."
