"Indeed. Master, to be honest, our Yang Family has connections both within the province and in the Capital. If you ever need any assistance in the future, we would be more than happy to handle it for you," Yang Ling added.
Su Tian smiled inwardly. He knew this father and daughter wanted to build a relationship with him, which was exactly his goal. He naturally nodded. "My name is Su Tian. My number is..."
He recited a string of digits. "If you have any further health issues in the future, feel free to contact me."
"That would be wonderful!"
Both Yang Sheng and his daughter were overjoyed and hurriedly saved the number. Su Tian did not linger; after a few polite exchanges, he took his leave.
Watching Su Tian’s departing back, the father and daughter were filled with emotion. Yang Ling remarked, "I really didn't expect someone around my age to possess such immense abilities."
"Indeed, Linger. I told you before: the world is full of hidden talents. Now you see it for yourself."
"Yes. I will find a way to stay in touch with him."
"Good. You should stay in contact. After all, it is not just me in our family who is injured; your uncle is as well."
Yang Ling nodded, a sharp glint flashing in her eyes.
Meanwhile, just as Su Tian stepped out of the villa complex, his phone rang.
It was Su Yun. She said she was in trouble at school and her homeroom teacher wanted a guardian to come in. Not wanting to worry her father, she had called Su Tian to handle it.
Su Tian immediately asked what the problem was, but Su Yun told him to just come over first. This made Su Tian’s heart tighten; he hailed a taxi and rushed to Tengshi No. 1 High School.
He knew Su Yun’s character well. She would never say something like that unless she were in real trouble, so he had to get there as quickly as possible.
Ten minutes later, Su Tian walked into the school’s administrative office. Inside, he saw a middle-aged man with glasses sternly reprimanding Su Yun. Three other girls stood beside her; while they appeared respectful on the surface, their eyes were filled with schadenfreude.
Su Tian’s expression turned cold as he walked directly up to the man.
"I am Su Yun’s cousin, Su Tian. May I ask why the school has summoned me?"
"Oh? So you’re Su Yun’s guardian? Hmph, I am Chen Wu, the dean of the second-year students here at Tengshi No. 1 High School!"
"I see, Director Chen. What exactly has happened?"
"Hmph, Mr. Su, your cousin is quite devious. She has been coercing her roommates, engaging in school bullying, and extorting money from other students! Do you have any idea how serious this is?"
"School bullying? Extortion?"
Su Tian frowned. He immediately knew this was a lie. He understood Su Yun perfectly; she was the type of girl who wouldn't even step on an ant in the street—how could she possibly bully others?
"Cousin, I didn't! They were the ones doing it!"
"Still trying to deny it!"
Chen Wu was furious, but Su Tian replied calmly, "Justice requires proof, Director Chen. If you claim my cousin is bullying others and extorting money, you must have evidence."
"I have evidence, of course! Her three roommates are the witnesses!"
"That’s right, we can all testify. It was Su Yun who coerced us into extorting Huang Duoduo. She even took nude photos of her and demanded money. If we didn't go along with it, she would beat us," one of the girls said immediately. The other two nodded, feigning fear.
"You’re lying! You were the ones bullying that girl, and I only stepped in because I couldn't stand by and watch! How did you twist it into me being the one to attack her?"
Su Yun was so frustrated her eyes turned red. Su Tian patted her shoulder. "Yun, don't worry. Trust me, I will uncover the truth soon."
Turning to Chen Wu, Su Tian said, "Director Chen, while these three have provided testimony, it is merely one side of the story. That hardly counts as real evidence, does it?"
"Hmph, obviously. Do you think I would have called you here if I didn't have actual proof? Teacher Zhao, bring the victim in."
"Very well."
A voice came from outside the office, and a middle-aged woman entered, pulling a timid-looking girl behind her.
As soon as he saw the girl, Su Tian narrowed his eyes. He could see that while her clothes were washed clean, they were very worn—she clearly came from a struggling family.
"Huang Duoduo, tell us: who took those nude photos of you and extorted you? Don't worry, the teachers will stand up for you," Director Chen said. The girl named Huang Duoduo hesitated.
"Huang Duoduo, speak up! Was it them bullying you? I was trying to help you the whole time!" Su Yun said excitedly. Huang Duoduo started to nod, but the three girls suddenly coughed and glared at her.
Huang Duoduo shuddered and lowered her head, not daring to speak.
"Student Duoduo, don't be afraid. Like I said, the teachers will protect you, so just speak your mind," Director Chen said, softening his tone as much as he could. But Huang Duoduo remained head down, clearly terrified.
Su Tian sneered. "Director Chen, I don't think there is any need to ask further. Her condition clearly shows she is being threatened by my cousin’s roommates. Otherwise, why would she be so afraid?"
"What nonsense are you spouting! Do you know who the parents of Li Jia, Zhou Fei, and Yang Tong are? Their parents are civil servants in this city! Especially Li Jia—her father is the Deputy Director of the city's Education Bureau! How could they possibly do something like this!"
"I see. That explains why Director Chen is so biased toward them."
"You... you’re talking nonsense!"
"That’s right, that is absolute nonsense!"
Suddenly, another voice came from the doorway. A middle-aged man in an executive jacket and gold-rimmed glasses walked in.
Chen Wu’s eyes lit up, and he hurried forward. "Director Li, why are you here in person?"
"Hmph. My daughter has been dragged into a school bullying incident; how could I not come?"
"I see. Please rest assured, Director Li, Tengshi No. 1 High School will certainly see that Li Jia gets justice. Our school strictly follows the city's policies and will firmly put an end to all forms of school bullying!"
"Very well. Proceed."
Director Li nodded, then cast a look of disdain at Su Tian. Su Tian sneered. "Justice? Well said. This matter has had a terrible impact, and I, too, must seek justice for my cousin."
Su Tian leaned down toward Huang Duoduo. "Duoduo, I know being threatened is a terrifying experience. But please, trust me. If you tell the truth, no one will dare touch you. I will resolve all your troubles, so please, just speak."
As he spoke, Su Tian gently patted Huang Duoduo on the shoulder, channeling a trace of spiritual energy into her body.
