Caixi County resembled a breathtaking painting, rich in picturesque scenery and blessed with a pleasant climate, as if gently embraced by nature. In this charming little county town, time seemed to slow down, lingering in peaceful leisure.
Every season felt as mild as spring. The morning sunlight was always bright and gentle, piercing through the clouds and spilling over the earth, bringing endless hope and vitality to the people.
Yang Xi, a young and diligent fellow, had long been accustomed to rising early every day to greet the dawn of a new day.
Today was no exception. As usual, he quickly dressed, opened the four large doors of his shop to let the fresh air flood inside, and prepared to begin another day of business.
Yang Xi was only twenty-three years old, yet his life experience was deeply lamentable. He was already a widower, a heavy truth that filled many with regret; to lose a partner at such a tender age was truly heartbreaking.
Yet, despite the crushing blow life had dealt him, Yang Xi was not broken. On the contrary, he faced life's challenges with an indomitable spirit, stubbornly pressing forward.
As Yang Xi walked forward, he moved with the force of a strong gale that commanded attention. His handsome face seemed meticulously sculpted by the gods, every line flawless.
His crew cut added a touch of ruggedness and rebellion, the short, neat strands standing straight and catching the sunlight with a healthy sheen. His physique was strong and solid, his broad shoulders seeming capable of bearing the weight of the world.
Every muscle was sharply defined, brimming with endless power. His thick arms felt as though a single wave could sweep away all obstacles, and his taut chest, like a sturdy fortress, radiated a sense of absolute security.
Standing at one meter eighty-five, he towered unusually high in this remote little county town. The slight upturn of his lips carried an elusive smile, blending the charm of a mature man with an irresistible, wicked edge.
This computer sales and repair shop measured about forty square meters and was crammed with all sorts of computer equipment and accessories.Since childhood, Yang Xi had harbored a deep passion for computers, delighting in exploring their various functions and technologies. During his middle school years, he often used his spare time to delve into the mysteries of computing. However, by his final year of high school, his family's financial situation grew increasingly dire. Due to extreme poverty, Yang Xi made the resolute decision to abandon his studies and head to the bustling metropolis of Kunhai to carve out a living. Although his academic grades were stellar, he understood that only through employment could he help lift his family out of hardship. Yang Xi was well aware of his parents' grueling toil; aging and frequently ailing, they were in dire need of his support. Thus, he left school behind without hesitation and embarked on his journey to the big city. He spent two years working at Ideal Technology in Kunhai. Though only twenty years old, his capability and performance commanded widespread admiration. His appearance also worked greatly to his advantage—exceptionally handsome and blessed with a robust physique, he easily drew all eyes in the company. Consequently, he became the Prince Charming in the hearts of many female colleagues. He longed to find someone who truly understood and supported him, rather than someone who fancied him merely for his looks. It was then that he met his future wife, Xiali, a brilliant graduate of Qingdu University whom Yang Xi would never forget. Amidst the bustling city streets, she stood out as strikingly as a blooming, vibrant rose. She possessed long, silky black hair that cascaded loosely over her slender shoulders; as a gentle breeze swept by, her locks fluttered softly, emitting an enchanting fragrance. Her nose was straight with a slightly upturned tip, giving her a playful and adorable air. Her lips were as luscious and vibrant as cherries, and the corners of her mouth always curved upward in a warm smile that instantly brightened anyone's mood. She was the kind of girl who filled Yang Xi's heart with joy the moment he saw her, and she, too, found him unforgettable upon their first glance. Unsurprisingly, it was love at first sight for both of them—or perhaps, more accurately, mutual infatuation at first sight. Sitting at his desk, Yang Xi gazed at a beautiful photograph. Lost in deep recollection...
