Yang Xi quietly returned home, cooked a small pot of braised beef, poured a glass of strong liquor, and began his dinner.
Prrr-ring! The doorbell rang. Without even guessing, Yang Xi knew who it was. It had to be Agnes, who must have noticed his lights were on and dropped by. With her tall, graceful figure, slender legs, and elegant posture, exuding confidence and charm in every gesture, she was wearing a semi-transparent lace nightgown tonight and almost made Yang Xi bleed from the nose the moment she walked through the door.
"Where have you been these past few days?" Agnes asked.
Yang Xi disliked this interrogative tone. "Do I need to report to you?" he replied coldly.
"I'm just worried about you! Don't you know the video of you fighting those robbers has gone viral all over the world? It's very dangerous for you to run around like this now—the leader of those robbers had a gun," Agnes said.
"I'm not afraid of danger, no need to worry," Yang Xi replied gently, his heart softening as he looked at Agnes rushing to explain herself.
"Yang, you said that once Wage came back and cleared things up, you would consider being with me. I made things clear to Wage at his funeral, and I've also told God. Can we be together now?" Agnes asked. She was always so direct, never beating around the bush.
"Mm-hmm, yes, but we can only be boyfriend and girlfriend for now, and you are not allowed to mention me to your God. As long as you agree to this condition, I'll be your boyfriend, and if we get along well, I'll marry you in three years!" Yang Xi said.
"Why can't I tell God? He would bless us," Agnes asked, puzzled.
"Because I angered God, and He gave me three years. If I marry you anytime within these three years, you will die. This is true, don't disbelieve it." Agnes looked at Yang Xi doubtfully for a long time.
"Yang, you're hilarious. You can just reject me, but your lie isn't funny at all," Agnes said seriously.
"Oh, you think I'm lying? Then let me tell you, my ex-wife is already dead, and that was the punishment, you know? Though it wasn't God who punished me!" That was true—the one who punished him was definitely not God. Since he was an Easterner, if anyone was going to punish him, it would be his ancestors; God had no jurisdiction over him.
"Will you really marry me in three years?" Agnes asked again.
"Provided there are no accidents, or if we're still together, there'll be no problem," Yang Xi replied.
"Hey, what are you taking your clothes off for?" Yang Xi asked hurriedly when he saw this little foreigner start shedding her lace nightgown, which was practically see-through.
"To sleep with you! To fulfill my duties as a girlfriend," Agnes said innocently.
"Well, at least wait until I finish eating and wash up before you take them off? Come, let's have a drink together." With that, he poured two drinks, and the two of them resumed eating and drinking.
After polishing off a bottle of liquor, Yang Xi was in the middle of washing up and taking a cold shower when he was suddenly embraced from behind by a cool, soft pair of arms. This instantly sent Yang Xi's blood boiling.
Having not touched a woman for a full three years, who could possibly resist such a tall, beautiful, and tender girl?
A passionate collision soon erupted inside the bathroom.
Agnes's openness and initiative left Yang Xi thoroughly gratified.
"Darling, you're amazing, it feels so good!" Agnes murmured passionately.
Demanding one round after another, Agnes ended up staying in bed all day long, until nighttime when Yang Xi finally dressed her, practically pushed her into the bathroom to wash up, and took her out for dinner.
