"Cough, cough..." I struggled to push myself up from the ground, my vision blurred. A salty taste of blood welled up in my throat. Raising a hand to wipe the blood from the corner of my mouth, I looked around with a bitter smile. "Damn it, I was too careless..." I had actually triggered the restriction of an ancient ruin and fallen into this damn trap! Towering stone walls rose all around me, with only a sliver of daylight visible overhead. The air was thick with a damp, rotting stench. To make matters worse, the trap was not empty. Dozens of lizard-like monsters with bat wings were eyeing me intently, their crimson tongues licking sharp claws as they let out a spine-chilling roar.
