Just as Xu Lin and his companion were on their way back to Prussia, a quiet and faintly apprehensive atmosphere filled the research institute. General Shane and General Keith, two battle-hardened generals, were sitting in a room discussing the extraordinary Xu Lin. Having recovered significantly, both men could now occasionally get out of bed and walk around. Captain Clark, fully healed, was busy on his feet, serving tea to the two generals. Sunlight streamed through the window, casting bright patches of light across the floor of the room. General Shane gently picked up a cup of tea, which was emitting a faint wisp of vapor. Savoring it as if tasting the rich mellowness of time, he took a small sip, then smiled and said to General Keith, "Keith, Doctor Xu's medical skills are truly miraculous. With wounds as severe as ours, we are already close to healing. If our own medical corps had treated these injuries, even under the best of circumstances, it would have been impossible for any of us to recover to this state within two or three months!" His eyes were filled with awe and gratitude for Doctor Xu's medical prowess, a feeling of heartfelt admiration. Every word seemed to carry the joy of his recovery and a deep respect for Xu Lin.
