"However, for cultivators like us, the pursuit of the Great Dao and immortality must come first. Matters of a dao companion require great caution; they cannot be approached rashly. I prefer to let things unfold naturally with Empress Xiyao. If fate decrees, perhaps we may walk the path of immortality together and explore the Great Dao side by side."
Jiang Taixu’s eyes flashed with brilliance upon hearing this. Qin Wudao had neither flatly refused nor immediately agreed. This attitude, in fact, only highlighted his extraordinary character.
