The driver was startled, and Yamaguchi Den looked out the window and up into the sky, only to see a thick bolt of lightning plunging straight down from the heavens, hurtling toward the car he was in.
Yamaguchi Den’s face drained of color. He was just about to order the driver to speed up, but before his mouth could even close, the lightning struck.
