Chapter 69

Yekong and his disciples did not head toward the distant palaces on the side, but instead followed a path straight ahead. Outside the palaces, the members of the Demon Cult who had entered were either dead, wounded, or missing. Those who died had mostly encountered dead ends, and those who survived to return warned that those paths were impassable. A few had simply never returned; the people of the Molue Palace were uncertain whether they had found the right way and were hiding to claim the treasures for themselves, or if they had met with an accident and were trapped. When the righteous sects emerged and saw that the Demon Cult members had not left, they realized the latter were still searching for the entrance. Once all the righteous sects had exited, the Demon Cult instantly locked onto the portal Yekong and his group had previously entered.
