A Great Dao treasure of the primordial kind is born entirely from the Great Dao itself, requiring no external influence; it is the crystallization of the Great Dao’s very will. It will never acknowledge any powerhouse as its master, for it is, in itself, an unimaginable and peerless powerhouse.
A Great Dao treasure of the acquired kind also originates from the power of the Great Dao, but it cannot undergo metamorphosis on its own; it requires acquired forces to achieve enlightenment. Once enlightened, however, it too possesses inconceivable power, inferior to the primordial treasures by only the narrowest of margins.
To put it plainly, before enlightenment, an acquired Great Dao treasure might merely be an unremarkable stone on the ground, a frail blade of grass in a field, or a stunted sapling in the forest. But once it attains enlightenment, it can connect with the Great Dao and become a Great Dao treasure.
