Zhao Yu sprinted all the way back. Not far from the dormitory, she spotted Lu Jing standing there, looking utterly dejected. Wang Jianguo’s mother stood before him, poking him in the forehead; judging by her expression, she seemed to be hurling abuse at him.
When Lu Jing noticed Zhao Yu, a flash of embarrassment crossed his face. Just as he was about to speak to her, he saw Zhao Yu walk past them without so much as a glance in their direction.
"Zhao Yu!" Lu Jing couldn't help but call her name. "Don't you have anything to say to me?"
