On the second day of the Lunar New Year, Su Yizhou’s family once again had to board a flight back to Sichuan Province, as they still had to visit his maternal grandparents for the New Year.
Looking at his grandfather in the distance who had come to see them off at the airport, wearing a thick cotton-padded jacket and gazing in the direction of their departure, Su Yizhou felt a complex mixture of emotions within. He turned around, waved to his grandfather, and then walked into the security checkpoint.
After paying New Year respects at his grandparents' home and staying for a couple of days, Su Yizhou pestered Liu Shiran to say they should go visit Ji Qianxi’s family to wish them a Happy New Year. Since she originally had the same idea, the family happily set off.
