This really put the photographer's ability to capture candid moments to the test. Often, the most evocative photos are candid shots; many iconic images are born from such fleeting moments. After more than forty minutes, they arrived at the Imperial Garden. Fortunately, they had set off early in the morning, so it was only ten o'clock. Once they reached the famous landmarks, they started snapping away. The photographer had to be ready to capture moments at any time. They had to strike poses, but they also had to allow for candid shots. The two were clearly head over heels for each other, their affection for one another evident in every glance. Once their eyes met, they simply couldn't look away. Mutual gazes were the easiest to photograph, or alternatively, having one person watch the other. The weather was beautiful today—sunny but not too hot—the kind of weather that makes everyone feel at ease.
