Continuing along the coast, as it was nearing evening, they had just left the scope of the bay and bypassed the giant jumbles of rocks ahead, where the vague outline of the snow mountain could already be seen.
Wáng Jùnjié and the dinosaurs passed through another canyon. This canyon was unique, with towering sea cliffs on one side and connected to the mountainside on the other, leaving a narrow passage in the middle just wide enough for them to pass through. By this time, the sky had completely darkened, and the night enveloped everything around them. Fortunately, their destination was finally visible just ahead, separated only by a coastline, not far away. If they continued at their current pace, they should be able to reach it before noon tomorrow.

The night was too dark, and a forest lay ahead with uncertain dangers. They had no choice but to rest where they were and cross the forest during the day after waking up to reach the snow mountain.
Lighting a campfire to make the pitch-black night a little more bearable, the Ichthyornis didn't need to be fed. When it was hungry, it would automatically fly away from Wáng Jùnjié's shoulder and return to rest quietly after eating its fill. After feeding all the dinosaurs, guards were assigned. The path ahead was led by Raptors with three Dimetrodons, while the rear was guarded by large Dimetrodons with three Dimetrodons, to prevent attacks from wild carnivorous dinosaurs.
Blowing in the cool sea breeze, Wáng Jùnjié began to feel a chill. Perhaps it was because they were close to the snow mountain; the temperature here at night was lower than in the south. It seemed that upon arrival tomorrow, he would need to find a fur set. Having two Parasaurolophus help block the sea breeze, Wáng Jùnjié finally felt a bit warmer before slowly falling asleep.
The next morning, sunlight bathed the land, awakening the sleeping world. The dinosaurs returning to their nests began a new day, emerging from their dens leisurely and unhurriedly to search for food.
Wáng Jùnjié also woke up early, packed his belongings, and prepared to continue towards the snow mountain. Once ready, Wáng Jùnjié continued towards the snow mountain. Along the way, he admired the surrounding scenery and felt the charm of nature. After walking for a while, he noticed a waterfall to the right as they entered the forest. The area was picturesque with clear waters and melodious birdsong. The water from the waterfall formed a stream, and within the crystal-clear stream, there were many Coelacanths and Sabertooth Salmons. Wáng Jùnjié also spotted otters, the beauty icons of the Ark. These cute little creatures were universally loved. If the fur set wasn't ready soon, taming one to keep with him wouldn't be a bad idea; not only could it be kept for appearance but also for protection against the cold, making it a perfect pet for home and travel.
Looking at the scenic forest, Wáng Jùnjié no longer hesitated and crossed the stream to go straight through the forest, hoping no carnivorous dinosaurs would appear nearby. The troop's scale wasn't large yet, with only the Raptors as the main combat force.
After walking for some time, Wáng Jùnjié suddenly saw a wondrous sight ahead. He saw a waterfall cascading down from a height, scattering mist and forming a beautiful curtain of water. The falling water formed a crystal-clear stream that flowed gently, emitting a pleasant sound.
Wáng Jùnjié was captivated by the beautiful scenery. He walked closer to observe the waterfall, feeling the cool spray of water on his skin. He carefully observed his surroundings: the mountains and clear waters, the lush green trees, and the birds singing joyfully, full of life and vitality.
Strolling along the stream, Wáng Jùnjié was also delighted to see many Coelacanths and Sabertooth Salmons swimming in the water. These Coelacanths, with their vibrant colors and varied shapes, offered a visual feast. Furthermore, he discovered the Ark's beauty icon—the otter. The otters were lively and playful, frolicking and displaying their innocent side. No one could resist the adorableness of the Ark's otters, and they were universally loved, young or old. Wáng Jùnjié quietly observed these otters, a warm emotion welling up in his heart. They truly melted his old man's maiden heart. He found these little creatures incredibly cute, becoming a part of the beautiful scenery, evoking a sense of life's beauty. Otters were quite important; they could be used to get divine artifacts and as scarves. If the fur set took too long to make, he would tame an otter first, which would help him endure the cold and facilitate activities in the snow mountain.
Continuing forward, Wáng Jùnjié crossed the stream and resumed his journey towards the snow mountain. Riding a Parasaurolophus, he took step by step towards the forest, believing he could overcome any difficulty and achieve his goals. Entering the lush jungle, there weren't many predators here; most were herbivorous dinosaurs like Parasaurolophus, Triceratops, Morellatops, and Water Dragon Beasts. Occasionally, they encountered a few giant soldier ants, which the Dimetrodons quickly overwhelmed and killed. Wáng Jùnjié picked out the ones with shells, and the meat was given to the dinosaurs.
Even though the sun was out, Wáng Jùnjié still felt a slight chill in the jungle. As expected, getting closer to the snow mountain affected this area too. Wáng Jùnjié glanced at his dinosaurs; they showed no signs of discomfort. Had genetic modification allowed these creatures to adapt to the environment so quickly?
The creatures living in the snow mountains were all furry, yet Wáng Jùnjié's dinosaurs, originally from tropical regions, showed no discomfort. In fact, seeing Allosaurus appear in the snow mountains made it clear; such hairless creatures couldn't possibly exist in snowy regions, yet Allosaurus could withstand the biting cold of the snow mountain weather. These genetically modified creatures were no longer ordinary beings; calling them genetically modified monsters would be more fitting.
As the weather grew colder, Wáng Jùnjié finally saw a pool of water outside the forest. He first sent out a few Dimetrodons to scout ahead, while he and the dinosaurs hid in the bushes at the edge of the forest to observe the situation. After a long period of observation with no sign of any ferocious beasts, Wáng Jùnjié felt relieved and cautiously approached the pool.
What met his eyes was a large, flat area. Around the pool were numerous giant pebbles, many scattered in the water and along the bank, extending outwards. More concentrated were the small puddles leading to the open space outside, where dense large pebbles covered the entire small pit and extended to the outside.
There were many dense trees around, with undergrowth so thick that one could disappear from sight. Wood, flint, thatch, and fiber were abundant, as was water. This large pool was even bigger than the one at South One, and its depth was similar. Wáng Jùnjié had a Parasaurolophus test the depth; the deepest part reached just about to Wáng Jùnjié's neck. Oil and polymers could be collected on the glacier, and later he would need to tame a pelagornis to hunt penguins for a ghillie suit.

The pool's location was advantageous, with mountains on both sides. The mountain in front was towering, located ahead of Tianhui Peak. The small mountain behind, though not comparable to the front one, was still over twenty meters high. To the right was a dense jungle, and to the left was a vast, open muddy and frozen ground.
Sunlight filtered through the gaps in the leaves, filling the entire pool area with vitality and life. The dense leaves shimmered with a bright light, and crystal-clear dewdrops sparkled on the leaf tips like brilliant pearls. The glistening dewdrops dripped onto the ground as the sun rose.
The forest on the mountain was shrouded in mist, appearing like a fairyland when looking up. The mist was like a white silk ribbon, gently entwining the peaks. When sunlight penetrated the clouds, the mist would transform into a hazy glow, astonishing onlookers.
Looking at the Tianhui Snow Mountain, which was close at hand, everything in sight was a vast expanse of white snow. The entire mountain peak was covered in thick snow, resembling a giant ice cream. The trees on the snow mountain were also encased in ice and snow, becoming white sculptures, showcasing nature's miraculous craftsmanship. The summit of Tianhui Snow Peak was covered in thick snow that never melted. Due to the perpetual clouds and mist surrounding the summit, this obelisk was veiled, appearing and disappearing faintly, giving it a hazy and mysterious aura.
Here, nature's beauty was displayed to its fullest, allowing one to feel a sense of peace and harmony completely different from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The pool was so clear that one could see Coelacanths and Sabertooth Salmons playing in the water. The water's surface shimmered with ripples, creating a breathtaking sight. This unique natural landscape was not only a beautiful scenic spot but also an ideal place for relaxation and leisurely retirement.
