After scanning with the implant and feeding the Parasaurolophus purple berries, Wáng Jùnjié continued to ride his Raptor in search of the next target.
It wasn't long before he spotted a Mastodon. This Mastodon was about 2.5 meters tall and 4.12 meters long. Its appearance bore some similarities to modern elephants, but there were also some distinct differences. Firstly, the Mastodon's ears were relatively small and not as wide as those of modern elephants. Secondly, their noses were shorter, resembling a slightly longer pig's snout. Additionally, the Mastodon had two short tusks in its upper jaw that grew downwards like canines, while its lower jaw was shaped like a shovel. These features made the Mastodon distinctly unique in appearance.

Although the Mastodons in the game only fled passively, the creatures here fought back. Seeing such a colossal creature with his own eyes still delivered a visual impact. Wáng Jùnjié felt that if he really had to fight, even a Raptor would have to take it seriously, and at least three to five Raptors would be needed to subdue an adult Mastodon.
Although shorter than the Parasaurolophus, the Mastodon's body was enormous. If it charged, it would definitely be a battering ram. However, it wasn't a head-on fight. The Mastodon was even slower than the Parasaurolophus, so kiting it with a Raptor would be easy. Wáng Jùnjié used the same method as taming a Parasaurolophus, constantly circling the Mastodon to exhaust its stamina, occasionally firing a tranquilizer arrow. Slowly, the Mastodon ran slower and slower, more and more tired, but it could not forgive the guy in front of it for provoking it. Until the Mastodon's eyes went black and it fell to the ground, it could not catch up to the man and the dragon.
Second one today, lucky day.
After scanning the Mastodon and feeding it purple berries, he went back to feed the Parasaurolophus purple and black berries before searching for other dinosaurs. He circled around but found nothing worth taming, only Water Dragon Beasts and Dodos.
Dodos were larger than ordinary birds and exhibited clear sexual dimorphism.
The Dodo stood 1.06 meters tall, reaching about Wáng Jùnjié's waist when standing upright. It was a plump, large bird covered in soft gray feathers, with brown or gray plumage; the female's feathers were lighter than the male's. There was a tuft of white feathers on its tail. Their wings were very small and too weak to support the Dodo's lift-off, so they could only be ground birds. However, Dodos had strong reproductive capabilities and were found almost everywhere on the Isolated Island, except in uninhabitable areas like the snow mountains, swamps, and Demon Island. You could see them almost anywhere. Wáng Jùnjié had also eaten many Dodos. Although there were no seasonings, they were truly delicious, truly a species that sustained the entire Isolated Island by itself.

Never mind, I'll tame one while I'm at it, and eat its eggs later. Resignedly, he dismounted and took out a wooden club to chase and beat the Dodos. Wáng Jùnjié was afraid that a single tranquilizer arrow would kill a Dodo, as its weak body might not withstand the impact. Wáng Jùnjié chased one, and the other Dodos panicked and fled. In Wáng Jùnjié's eyes, this was futile; they would never escape his grasp. Soon, seven or eight Dodos lay on the ground. He had already broken two wooden clubs. It would be enough for making eggs into feed.
After scanning all the Dodos and feeding them purple berries, these Dodos were easy to tame, waking up in just 6 minutes. Looking at the group of Dodos following behind him, Wáng Jùnjié felt like he had instantly become a large-scale chicken farmer. He mounted his Raptor and led the Dodos back to check on the Parasaurolophus and the Mastodon.
The Mastodon was easier to tame than the Parasaurolophus, requiring only one stop to feed them purple and black berries on the way back. It woke up in just over twenty minutes, while the Parasaurolophus took about half an hour. After the Parasaurolophus woke up, Wáng Jùnjié led these tribe members back to avoid any accidents.
Several hours had passed since he set out to tame dinosaurs and returned, and it was now noon.
Fortunately, there were no accidents, and everything was normal. After quickly eating a few pieces of roasted meat, Wáng Jùnjié threw himself into construction. (*Sigh*) A life of toil. He had to build a room for the Dodos, otherwise, they would lay eggs everywhere, making them difficult to find and easy prey for other carnivorous dinosaurs. He had three Parasaurolophus collect enough materials for construction, and then built a smaller henhouse next to the room. After housing all the Dodos inside, Wáng Jùnjié had the Parasaurolophus continue logging. The Mastodon also joined in the logging, and with this hulking creature, the efficiency should increase significantly. The Morellatops gathered fiber and berries. The patrolling Dimetrodons were not assigned tasks; they were the base's security guards, responsible for the safety of the herbivorous dinosaurs at the base.
After making the arrangements, Wáng Jùnjié mounted his Raptor again, preparing to embark on the journey of taming dinosaurs. His heart was filled with anticipation because his goal today was to capture more dinosaurs to bring back. He rode his Raptor deep into the jungle, deciding to explore further.
Along the way, he guided his Raptor through the dense forest, following the mountain path upwards. When the Raptor needed to rest, he would stop for a short break and then continue on. As they ventured deeper, suddenly, a low and continuous "buzzing" sound reached Wáng Jùnjié's ears. He immediately became alert, looking around to identify the source of the sound.
"Buzz buzz buzz"
A swarm of giant soldier ants suddenly emerged from the grass to his left, charging towards Wáng Jùnjié and his companion. The giant soldier ants on the Ark were much larger than any ant species in reality. The "buzzing" sounds were emitted by two flying worker ants. These giant soldier ants were about 40 centimeters long, while the flying worker ants had an astonishing wingspan of 1 meter. Helena's biological encyclopedia mentioned them; their scientific name is Titanomyrma. Titanomyrmas are among the smaller creatures on the island. You would be very scared when you realized they were the size of a dog.

But Wáng Jùnjié still habitually called them giant soldier ants. Seeing these giant soldier ants, Wáng Jùnjié relaxed. Even if a swarm came, they wouldn't be a match for the Raptor. But just as Wáng Jùnjié was feeling fortunate, larger giant soldier ants appeared behind them.
A giant Titanomyrma, about 2.2 meters long and reaching his chest in height, was much faster than the other Titanomyrmas. It quickly overtook three Titanomyrmas and charged towards Wáng Jùnjié. Wáng Jùnjié immediately turned his Raptor around. The giant Titanomyrma pursued him relentlessly. How could Wáng Jùnjié let it have its way? He didn't have time to switch to stone arrows, so he wasted a few tranquilizer arrows, occasionally turning back to shoot one. When he fired the fourth arrow, the Titanomyrma actually fainted. It fainted?
Wáng Jùnjié immediately dismounted to check on the giant Titanomyrma. After careful observation, it was indeed unconscious.
He remembered that giant soldier ants were immune to anesthesia and could not be tamed, nor did they have bio-chips inside them because their intelligence was insufficient to follow survivors' commands. However, such a large variant had appeared now and could be shot unconscious. Perhaps it could be tamed. He decided to try. Wáng Jùnjié scanned the giant Titanomyrma, then stuffed meat into its mouth. He mounted his Raptor and rode back to shoot down the worker ants, also using tranquilizer arrows. However, these worker ants died directly after two shots, confirming their resistance to anesthesia. Wáng Jùnjié tested the crawling soldier ants one by one, and the result was the same: they died when shot, without ever fainting. It seemed only mutated individuals could be stunned. After Wáng Jùnjié returned and cleared out the remaining Titanomyrmas, he waited for five minutes, and the giant Titanomyrma was tamed.
Looking at the enormous Titanomyrma before him, Wáng Jùnjié was filled with curiosity and excitement.
He couldn't help but want to experience riding this giant ant. So, Wáng Jùnjié mounted the Titanomyrma's sturdy back. The Titanomyrma's back had many pointed spikes, which served as natural handholds, allowing Wáng Jùnjié to grip them tightly to maintain balance. Although there was no saddle, he could sit steadily on it, remaining stable even when it moved.
When the Titanomyrma began to move, Wáng Jùnjié experienced something unprecedented. Its gait was steady and powerful, each step accompanied by a slight vibration and the rustling sound of leaves underfoot. Wáng Jùnjié gripped the spikes tightly, gradually adapting to this unique riding experience as the Titanomyrma moved forward.
He rode the Titanomyrma back and forth, feeling the wind whistle past his ears. However, although the Titanomyrma's speed was not slow, it was still slightly inferior compared to the Raptor. Raptors were known for their agility and speed, while Titanomyrmas possessed more strength and endurance. But for Wáng Jùnjié, this was already exciting.
Mounting the Raptor again, after storing the corpses of the five Titanomyrmas into his implant, Wáng Jùnjié continued his journey.
Not far from where he found the swarm of Titanomyrmas, Wáng Jùnjié stopped his Raptor. His gaze was drawn to a creature in the grass. Upon closer inspection, he saw a Titanomyrma lying quietly there, seemingly resting. This Titanomyrma looked about the same size as the one he had tamed, and its coloration was darker, clearly a mutated individual.
What surprised Wáng Jùnjié even more was that this Titanomyrma had wings! It appeared to be a worker ant, meaning it could fly. He wondered if it could carry him. This was undoubtedly a huge surprise for Wáng Jùnjié. He took a deep breath, calming himself down.
